Later that night, Mika was walking up the stairs to his home. Yuu was awake but he didn't know that Keiko was also awake. They both heard Mika come in. Mika climbed up the ladder to their beds. Yuu sat up and Keiko stayed quiet. "Hey, I'm home, Yuu, Keiko. " He said as he looked at her. "I know you're still awake."
Keiko got up and smiled. Yuu layed back down. "You're not gonna say welcome back?" Mika asked him. "Just to let you know, we ate your portion of the curry." Yuu said.
"No way!" He said. Keiko giggled. "He's joking. All the kids enjoyed it." Yuu still didn't look at him. "So what did you have to go through to get that curry?" He asked as he got back up. "Next time, I'll trade my blood."
"No one's gonna what to trade your bad tasting blood for anything." Mika said. "Keiko's maybe. Just kidding, don't worry about it. You're gonna kick their vampire butts right? Until then I'll-"
"Quit it! Stop taking on all the burden yourself. I'm not... I'm not an idiot. I know defeating vampires is..." Yuu started to say but Keiko stopped him. "These kids believe in your words. Let's not make them think that's true." She smiled.
"We can defeat vampires. We won't lose. Those words you keep repeating. "Mika said and got up. "Alright, let's eat some curry."
They all headed downstairs. Mika brought three bowls of rice and curry. "Here. You two never did eat it, did you?" He handed them both a bowl. Yuu was about to say something but Mika knew what he would say. "This isn't a request, it's an order."
"Why should I take orders from you? " Yuu shouted. Keiko tapped him on the shoulder then pointed up. He sat down again and remembered the sleeping children.
Mika brought out a gun. "Because you have to fight vampires with this." He handed him the gun. "But you can't fight on an empty stomach, right?" He also took out a map. "It's the map of the city."
Keiko stared at Mika, suprised. "Did you get these from that noble?" They started eating. "It took me a while to find it because Lord Ferid's mansion is so huge. The great Mikaela is no fool to give vampires his blood for free." Keiko giggled when Mika said that.
"Let's run away together. "Mika continued. Keiko asked, "What about the vampires?"
"Don't worry, I've got it all planned out." Mika replied. "Leave it to the great Mikaela!" Mika and Keiko both smiled.
"And also, don't worry about the virus. The three of us are twelve. We've got one year left. " Mika said. "I'm not sure if you've got this planned out or not, deciding everything on your own..." Yuu said.
What are you doing?" A voice said coming down the stairs. The three of them looked at the direction of the stairs and saw Akane coming down. "You're still up? Oh, welcome back, Mika." She said, noticing him. "Yuu, you ate the curry we made?"
Yuu suddenly got excited. "Alright then let's go!" Keiko got up. "Yeah let's go. Akane, go wake everyone up. "
She seemed confused. "W-what?" The three of them started cleaning up. Mika said, "We're gonna say our farewells to this world!"
Soon after, the door to their house opened and Mika stepped out, followed by the children, Yuu, and Keiko. He checked the area. "Let's go." He said, making sure the coast was clear. He held the map in his hands.
On the way to the human world, some of the children admired the beauty of the city at nighttime. "Hey, Mika, where are we going? I don't like the dark. We're not supposed to walk out at night." Several of them said.
Keiko reassured them. "It's fine. We're going to say bye-bye to this world anyways."
"We're going back to our world. We can eat curry there every day." Yuu added in.
