"Of course I'm scared of him!" Margret said to Jennifer. "He's a vampire for Christ's sake!"

Jennifer and Margret were walking to school that early Thursday morning. They were talking about Michelangelo, Carlos, and the upcoming pizza party.

"But he's a good vampire, Marg!" Jennifer assured her best friend. "He doesn't drink blood at all. He substitutes it with tomato juice whenever he gets hungry!"

"Whatever! A demon is still a demon no matter what he does!" Margret said sternly. "Now, let me stop talking like this and talk like how I'd normally sound." Margret cleared her throat and changed her tone of voice from sternly to happy. "So, how is the vampire?"

"Nice to hear you talking in your sweet voice again!" Jennifer said to Margret. "He's good. He can't wait for Carlos to come and the pizza party tomorrow night!"

    "Great!" Margret said happily.

"We went to the movies to see Dracula for movie night Sunday." Jennifer told Margret.

"Oh, really?" Margret asked with much enthusiasm. "Did he do some sweet things to you?"

"He put his arms around me!" Jennifer said with a smile.

The girls stopped walking and squealed over Michael's sweetness over Jennifer. They giggled and poked each other as if they were five years old.

"He's starting to become a sweet vampire boyfriend to you, Jenny!" Margret pushed Jennifer lightly.

"Hush, girl!" Jennifer tried to keep Margret quiet. "He's not my boyfriend!"

"But he will be soon! I promise you; all the signs of a boyfriend/girlfriend
relationship are starting to show more frequently." Margret explained and made Jennifer blush.

"Hey, gals!" A familiar voice said in the distance behind the girls.

"There's only one guy I know who'll call me a gal!" Jennifer said and looked back to see who it was. "It's Michael!"

"What's he doing in the sun?!" Margret asked. "He'll burn up!"

Michelangelo caught up with the girls wearing nothing but a plain white short sleeved t-shirt, khaki shorts, and sunglasses.

"What are you doing out here?!" Jennifer shouted at Michael. "It's daylight! You'll surely burn out here!"

"I won't burn!" Michael said to Jennifer.

"Please don't tell me you'd sparkle in the sun!" Margret rolled her eyes.

"No way!" Michael said. "That's only in those books and movies! My eyes just can't stand the sunlight. I'm just fine standing in the sun!"

"Oh, thank goodness!" Margret said as she hugged Michael in pure happiness.

Suddenly, a bright red mustang came up behind them and rode slow beside them. The driver side window rolled down to reveal that the driver was Teryen Jonson, richest girl in town.
