"I can't wait to meet your friends, Mikey!" Carlos smiled at Michelangelo.

"They can't wait to meet you either..." Michael said quietly.

"So... how's your dad?" Carlos asked.

"Fine," Michael said with his head down. "Sending me letters and stuff..."

"Okay!" Carlos exclaimed. "I'm here asking about your dad when I should really be asking if you're okay! Are you okay, Michelangelo?"

Michael sighed hard and looked at Carlos with glassy eyes as if he was about to cry.

"What's wrong?" Carlos asked.

"Ugh! It's my grandpa!" Michael admitted. "We've been doing our vampire test again!"

"That stupid thing?!" Carlos exclaimed. "To prove if you're a true vampire? You know what you are!"

"Yeah, sure..." Michael said. "But after not drinking blood during the test, Vermano said I was a disgrace to all vampires; even him."

"Aw, man! That's awful!" Carlos exclaimed. "Knowing that you gave up drinking blood when you were a kid and have been sober for years!"

"I know..." Michael sighed. "But I hate to let people down and I've let Uncle Verm down. I just know it!"

Michael then hung his head low down and faced the ground. He then let one tear come out of his right eye and let it fall down to his chin and drop to the ground.

"I'm starting to think that I should drink blood again like a normal vampire..." He said. "I bet that would make him proud of me..."

"No!!" Carlos exclaimed. "You shouldn't do that! Your uncle shouldn't try to change you! He should love you for whatever you choose to do!"

"You sound like my other friend, Jennifer Gleynn." Michael said as they reached Pizza Hut.

"Great minds think alike, I guess!" Carlos said. "But listen to Jennifer and me; don't let him get you down! Besides, this party is for you, right?"

"Right," Michael answered.

"Then don't let him get you down at your own party!" Carlos said as they entered Pizza Hut.

"Michelangelo!" Jennifer and Margret waved them down. "We're over here!"

Michael sat in a chair beside Jennifer and she put a sash over him that read "Guest of Honor" while Carlos sat in another chair beside Margret.
