A few months passed and it was close to Halloween. The boys were walking Jennifer and Margret to school. This time, the couples would do it as boyfriends and girlfriends. And once again, Teryen Jonson came cruising their way in her car again.
"Ooohh!" Teryen exclaimed at the boys. "Two hot cuties! Along with two hot losers!
"That's no way to treat the boys Teryen!" Jennifer joked and then gave Margret a high five.
"Yeah, whatever," Teryen ignored the girls. "I was really hoping I'd cruise by you."
"Why?!" Michelangelo asked her.
"To give you an invitation, silly," Teryen giggled.
She stopped her car, got out and had two orange and black bat shaped invitations in her hands.
"Everyone in town knows I give the best Halloween parties in all of Blynnville. Right girls?" Teryen asked and explained.
"How should we know, Teryen? You never invite us to your Halloween parties!" Margret said.
"Oh yeah, that's right!" Teryen said. "I forgot for a moment that you two are losers instead of being somebodies!"
Teryen laughed at her own joke as Jennifer and Margret rolled their eyes.
"Anywho, boys I want you both to be my first guests to get invitations to my Halloween party coming up." She continued. She then gave Michael and Carlos the invitations. "So, what do you say?"
"Teryen, even though it's great to be invited to a party as your guests..." Michael said.
"But we're going to have to pass this one up." Carlos finished Michael's sentence.
"What?!" Teryen exclaimed in shock. "Pass this one up?! My parties are the greatest parties in all of Blynnville in my gigantic mansion! Why in the world would you two cuties pass it up?!"
"Because, if these two beautiful ladies can't go, what's the point of us going?" Carlos asked Teryen.
"What?!" Teryen exclaimed. "So let me get this straight, you'll go if they get invited and go too?!"
"Right!" Michael and Carlos answered in unison.
Teryen, knowing that she couldn't win, she grudgingly went to her car and gotten and handed the girls their invitations. The girls tried to get it from Teryen but she wouldn't let go of the invitations.
"Enjoy your first party at my house girls." Teryen said through her clenched teeth. "Because it will be your last at my house! Next time, the boys come to a party without you two!"
Teryen then let go of the invitations and went to her car.
"I don't know what you see in those girls!" She said to Michael and Carlos.
"Easy, they have everything that you don't have, Teryen." Michael calmly said.
"Everything?! How can they have everything I don't have when they're poor and I'm the richest girl in Blynnville?" Teryen asked.
"One thing they have that a rich girl like you can't have unless you change your soul is real love." Carlos said to Teryen.
"You're lucky you two are cute, because that was majorly sappy." She said. "Oh and btw, my Halloween parties are always costume parties and I have a costume contest at the end of it all, so bring your best costumes."
As Teryen was driving away, she saw the girls hugging Michael and Carlos in her rearview mirror. She them kissing them on their cheeks.
"I don't know what it is about Michelangelo, but there's something strange about him. His little Mexican friend isn't far from the strange tree either." Teryen said as she thought more and more about Michelangelo and Carlos.
