"Was that really you ten years ago?" Carlos asked Jennifer.
"Yeah, I was seven years old." Jennifer said.
"I remember that night..." Michelangelo remembered. Another flashback rolled in and a younger Michael and Carlos were walking and laughing at night in Blynnville. "I remember we both grew a few inches and our voices were already in the puberty stage and adjusting to the voices we have now..."
"That was so funny!" Younger Michelangelo laughed.
"Yeah!" Younger Carlos agreed. "I love scaring the humans and seeing the look on their faces!"
Both laughed hard until they saw a little girl walking by herself in the night heading towards them.
"I think I see our next prey!" Michael whispered in Carlo's ear. "You know the drill, fool: hide!"
Michael turned into a bat and went on the branch of a nearby tree. Carlos went and turned around behind the same tree.
The little girl was closing in on the boys but stopped to tie her shoes.
The boys readied themselves to pounce on the little girl while she was down.
"Ready?" Michael whispered to Carlos.
"Ready, amigo!" Carlos whispered back.
"Pounce on one... two... three!" Michael said as he gotten down from the tree branch. He then turned into his normal self and the boys slowly creeped up to the little girl who had her head down.
As soon as she put her head up slowly, she saw the boys over her with glowing red and yellow eyes. They moved closer to her and hissed and growled behind their fangs. The girl screamed in fear and then curled herself in a ball to protect herself and started crying as the boys started laughed.
"That's no funny, you stupid doo-doo heads!" The girl screamed at the boys with tears in her eyes and ran away from them.
Carlos was still laughing but Michael just stood there with mixed emotions.
"I've never made a girl cry before!" Michael said quietly.
"Me neither, but it was worth it!" Carlos laughed even louder.
"No, it wasn't!" Michael exclaimed. "It was a cruel, sick joke and we shouldn't be doing that anymore!"
Carlos stopped laughing and gave Michael an "Are you serious?" look.
"And I'm going to apologize to her!" Michael said before he ran after the girl.
"Aw, come on, man!" Carlos stood there yelling at Michael at a far distance. "At least wait up for me!"
Carlos then ran after his best friend using his werewolf speed while muttering things in Spanish.
*********
The girl sat on the sidewalk holding her legs while crying. Michael then walked up to her and stood quietly until she noticed him.
"You... get away from me!" The girl said. "What are you doing here anyway?"
"Well, if you cared, I came to apologize for scaring you." Michael said as he sat down beside her and she scooted away.
"Well, I don't care!" The girl said as she wiped her tears away. "So just go!"
"If you don't care, then why are you crying?" Michael asked.
"Because you scared me!" She said.
