"You're my daughter?" Deadshot coughed out.
We stood in my apartment. He layed on my couch. Annie paced worriedly across my living room.
"Yeah, my mom told me you were a detective. She was always a good liar" I frowned and stared at him.
"She isn't a liar" He stared up at me.
"You.... Were a cop?" I laughed out hysterically.
"I don't have time for this" He shook his head.
"You don't have time for your own flesh and blood?" I stared angrily at him. Annie sat coldly still. She stared out the window.
"Annie" Deadshot beckoned for her. She still sat and stared out the window. "Annie!" He yelled. She shook her head and stood up promptly. He sat up straight and sat her down next to him. He grabbed her hand. Her face changed almost instantly. Almost mortified.
"They were giving her heavy medication. She is still coming down from it" I sighed.
"How long until she is back to normal?" He asked.
"Well, I'll bet you knew her before she went for a swim, so she might never be the same" I crossed my arms, slightly jealous of all the attention she was getting. "I actually have a few questions" I frowned.
"Shoot away" He leaned back.
"What is her real name?" I asked.
"She goes by Annie Winchester. I don't know her real last name. First name could be fake too" Deadshot sighed.
"So is that like her stripper name?" I frowned.
"No" He looked down. She was obviously important to him.
"I am also aware that she used fake information. Exactly the same information of a famous outlaw. Is she a super fan or-" Deadshot cut me off.
"She is.... Yeah, just a big fan" He seemed like he was holding back information.
"Look, she obviously has some severe damage. If you want to help her, then you need to not withhold information" I frowned and leaned closer to his face.
"I'm not-" He is interrupted by Annie resting her head on his shoulder. "It's a long story..." He didn't look me in the eyes the whole time. He told me a long roller coaster of a story. You could tell he felt everything all over again.
"How am I supposed to believe all that?" I asked.
"She has been at the bottom of the ocean for years. Any story is unbelievable" He frowned. I put my hand on my hip and rolled my eyes. He sighed.
"Give me your gun" He rolled his eyes. I cautiously handed it to him. He shut his eyes tightly and pressed the gun to his leg.
"Wh-what are you doing?" I stuttered. He pulled the trigger releasing a loud blast. Blood splattered on my new couch. He cried out. He then laid back and tilted his head up. Silence.
"Why would you do that?!" I shouted.
"Just wait" He frowned and stared at the ceiling. After a couple minutes, the hole in his leg grew back to skin.
"Does she do that?" I asked.
"Not exactly, hers is a little different. We claimed ours a little differently, as you know" He flung his head up and stared at me.
"What have you been doing all these hundreds of years?" I asked.
"Killing" He answered quickly.
"What about Will?" I asked.
"We haven't talked since I ran out" He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Look, because you're my father. I am just going to tell them that you have no clue who she is. I'm also not telling them that you broke her out. But I think it's in your best bet just to leave her in the hospital" I frowned.
"You can tell them whatever, I'm taking her, and we are leaving" He frowned and stared at me.
"Atleast let her stay here, you can't take her to your strip club" I frowned.
"Fine, but if you try anything, I will kill you, daughter or not" He bit the inside of his cheek.
"Kind of poetically ironic to kill something you brought into the world. Maybe you shouldn't have brought them in, in the first place" I put my hand on my hip. We sat in silence. "There is a spare bedroom down the hall. Her medicine should wear off by morning. So she may wake up... a little different" I sighed.
"Define different" He squinted his eyes. I winked at him and continued to my room.
*view of Deadshot*
"Come on, Annie. Time for bed" I stood up and beckoned for her. She stared up at me. I bent down and picked her up, bridal style. I carried her to bed and dropped her down promptly. I slid into the nice silk covers next to her. "Do you remember the last time we saw each other?" I asked quietly.
"It was a long time ago" She answered.
"Yep. I've missed you every day since then" I pulled her close to me. She was distant and her mind seemed foggy. I slipped my shirt off. She stared at me. I leaned forward and kissed her. She kissed me back and embraced me. I slipped off her shirt and before I knew it, we were laying bare beneath the covers. It almost felt wrong to fuck her in this state. She was like a toddler. I held on to her warmth and stayed awake thinking about her. I woke up to pain. She began to scream and yell.
"Where am I?! Who are you?!" She began to yell. She turned to me.
"It's me Deadshot!" I shouted. She sat up and covered herself up. I jumped up and walked backwards with my hands up. Before I knew it, a man walks in. He had a gun in his hand. He looks surprised to see me, and especially surprised to SEE me.
"Get the hell away from me!" Annie yelled.
"What the fuck is going on?!" The man shouted.
"I don't know! That's the problem!" She yelled.
"Why is it every fucking time I come to Annie's room, she is fucking some other guy" The man chuckled lightly.
"Will?" I cocked my head slightly.
"The one and only" He frowned.
"You look different" I arched my eyebrows.
"I've been through a lot" Will bit his lip. Annie ran forward and knocked the gun out of Will's hand. She pointed it at both of us. Switching targets every few seconds.
"She doesn't remember a thing" I mutter.
"What why?" Will muttered back. Athens walked in.
"She is repressing the trauma. Dealing with it by forgetting it happened" Athens added in.
"Hi, Mrs. Winchester, I'm a friend of yours" She smiled.
"You are?" Annie cocked her head.
"Yep, don't you remember. We met at the bar last night. You were pretty drunk" Athens smiled. I get what she is doing. Good idea.
"Yeah, we met last night too. I have no clue who this guy is though" I frowned. Will shot me a cold glare.
"Hey, Theseus, could you put some clothes on. Seeing my dad naked wasn't on my list of father daughter things to do together" Athens smirked.
"Father?" Annie began to throw up in her hand.
"No, it's not like that" Before I could explain anymore, Annie ran out of the room. "Why does my life get more and more complicated by the day" I sigh and put on some boxers. I can hear Annie shouting. I run out, still in my boxers.
"What's going on?" I asked calmly.
"You're both lying to me, I know it" She points the gun at Athen. I have to stop her quickly.
"Do you want the real story? Then calm down"
"Fine" She lowers her gun and stares at my with an rebellious flair.
