The car drove along the desert. They were taking us to the cave. The one where our fate lies. I sat up quickly. This is my best shot. I pulled the key from my pocket and unlocked my handcuffs. They made a loud smash to the floor. I stood frozen. The guards probably thought I fell or something. I take the key and slip my hands through the bars. I reach down and can't quite reach the lock. I grunt and groan as my hand bends in unnatural angles. I realize what I have to do. I slam my other hand down on my wrist. I hear a loud crunch sound that still haunts me, I stifle my scream. My hand falls limp, but just enough to where I could reach the lock. I turn my hand and the lock falls to the ground. I watch as it rolls into the distance, slowly getting farther away. I quietly open the doors. I look down into the orange dust that trails behind the large moving thing. It's going pretty fast. I sigh loudly. I cross my arms across my chest and fall backwards. I slam into the ground with a loud thump. I feel the grainy sand presses against my cheek everytime I roll on my stomach. The jagged rocks stab into my side and face. I continuously rolled, the momentum never stopped. When I finally halted, I felt as though someone kicked my ass. I stood up and stared at the vehicle, it looked tiny from this distance. Cuts and scrapes covered my arm and face. I was now covered in blood and dirt. My wrist was also broken. I hurt my leg pretty badly too. I need to get to Deadshot. I limped after the small unidentifiable objects in the distance. It was a couple minutes later and I lost all sight of my cell on wheels. I heard a loud rumble from behind me. A car was approaching. I hid behind a rock as it was approaching. An idea struck me. I jumped out and grabbed onto the railings on the large armored vehicle. I went flying with it. My legs dangled and scraped against the ground. I pulled them up quickly and pushed it against the side of the car, holding myself up. The wind blew against my face. I was ready to let go and just accept my fate, but my friends needed me. I heard a loud bang on the door of the back of the car. I leaned my head around the corner, Mary paced in the small room. Worry across her face.
"M-mary?" I whispered. She looked up, her face full of hope.
"Annie, you-you're alive" She stuttered out.
"Of course" I smiled.
"I'm so sorry" She shook her head.
"It's fine" I smoothed my messy hair back. I saw panic pass across Mary's face. She sat down quickly. She held her temples and cried out. "What's going on?" I whispered.
"I haven't had a vision in 200 years" She groaned out. Suddenly, her head shot up. Her eyes empty of life. Her muscles straining. She stared at the ceiling. She then loosened. Her head going limp, her breath was heavy and fast paced. "You're not dying today, Annie" Mary has a sad look on her face as she stared at me. "I can't say the same for most of us" She shook her head. The vehicle came to a sudden stop. I panicked. I jumped off and hid behind a rock. Men in uniforms hauled Mary from the cell. Her head hung low, madness stroked her face. I analyzed my situation. They then opened the doors to Deadshot's cell. They grabbed him by his arms and pulled him out. He was limp, they practically carried him. His eyes looked tired. They then opened my doors, it was empty. I saw hope glimmer in Deadshot's eyes. They haul him into the large cave. I could tell they were waiting for me to show up. My plan so far is to stealth fight my way into the cave, and then kill the general guy. Once I do that, we can steal the car and drive back to town, then I don't really know what else I'll do. There are 5 guards outside. Atleast 8 inside. I lean over the top of the rock and grab the man who is standing there. I held him by his neck. I tightened my grip, his face flashed many emotions. Mainly fear. His eyes rolled back and his shaking stopped. I stripped him of his clothes and got them on quickly. It was a blue uniform with padding on the chest, back and knees. He also conveniently wore a helmet and had a gun. I flipped the metallic face shield down. It was tinted a silvery black. I grabbed the long machine gun. I ran along the cars. I jumped out from behind a car and held the gun against the guard's neck. I pulled it tightly until he fell to the ground. I stepped on his face spitefully. I trotted forward. I grabbed the guard that was on the other side of the car. He fought back and overpowered me. We wrestled on the ground. He sat on top of me. He punched me in the face. Blow after blow I could feel my want to give up. I reached downward with my broken hand. I grabbed the knife in his pocket. I jabbed upwards into his throat. Blood sprayed across my face. The metallic taste burned my tongue. I pushed the body off of me. I sprinted forward as the other guard noticed me. I lunged forward like a lion. My blade plunged in his chest. Blood sprayed on me again. I didn't even bother to wipe it off my face. I laughed mirthfully. I hopped up and seeked out my next victim. I stalked my prey until I saw his feet from under the car. I saw him and then he disappeared. I turn around to be face to face with him. He grabs my neck and squeezed it tightly. I scratched at his hands, but it did no good. I threw my head forward and bit down on his neck. I teared the skin off. Blood and gore flew onto the ground and onto me. He fell onto his knees and then face first onto the floor. I smiled revealing blood covered teeth. Images of the ocean flash across my eyes. I walk slowly into the cave. I am greeted by several men with their guns trained on me. The general grinned at me.
