That night was the one I regret the most. The lab was in pieces, Sinclair and I began to clean it up. I then figured out why my destiny led me here. I had to do the exact opposite of my fathers intentions. I began working on how to reverse immortality. What a life. I also worked on building something to get Annie out of the ocean. Soon enough, I forgot. I had an obsession for ending my own life. Ending the immortality. I remember laying in my room and staring at the ceiling. Thinking of what I was doing with my life. I then thought about Annie. It took me five minutes to remember her name. It was almost like a wake up call. I only heard rumors of Deadshot. Apparently the immortality serum worked too well. I thought my Father just wanted a cure, not that he would be immune to all kinds of death. They claimed he roamed. He just would travel. He left the whole outlaw business in his past. I wanted to get his help to end this. But I never could find him. 33 years later is when new information passed me. For some reason, I never looked older than 21. Even though in years I was way older. I heard he joined the war. He joined a day after they were taking soilders for world war one. An army man. I would of never guessed. The general approached me. Asked me to make him some weapons. Some so they would win. I was very much against all kinds of war. So I refused. While the general was there. I asked if he has seen Deadshot.
"Have you met someone who goes by Deadshot" I asked.
"Yes, I've heard someone call him that once" The general thinks for a second. "He is my second in command. At first he wasn't trained, then I tamed him. And he is my best. I'm not surprised if they have him take my place. Its like the kid can't die" The general chuckles.
"Can you tell him that someone named William needs to see him. An old friend" I smiled gently.
"I'll tell lieutenant Winchester as soon as I see him" He nodded.
"Winchester?" I stared.
"Yeah, Theseus Winchester. Odd name" He frowns.
"Yeah it is" I smile to myself and show the general out the door. "Thank you for meeting with me" The general walked out the door.
"I'll consider the weapons" I nodded. Then the general left. I didn't consider the weapons. It could be very bad in the wrong hands. I felt guilty not trusting Deadshot with that kind of power. But I know I chose right. The general didn't last long, he was bombed while at base. I remember seeing Deadshot's face in the news, as the new general. I took a knife and held the newspaper against my wall, and stabbed the top. The picture now was tacked to my wall, newspaper after newspaper hung up there until I ran out of space. The saddest one was the last. I remember when I received it, I tore down all of them, sending them upon me like confetti. Deadshot was taken as a prisoner as war. And America wouldn't pay to get him back. That was a dark time for me. Years before Deadshot joined the war, Mary found me. She had changed completely. She went from nerdy crazy chick to pirate sexy crazy chick. She sailed the ocean with the pirate who threw us off. She came to me with him. He had very bad wounds, ones that most people would die of. I was completely against it until she paid me heavily. Again, dark times, I lost all moral. I fixed him up real well. She didn't want him back on the seas.
"I don't want him, he's evil. Bad for the soul" She shook her head.
"What am I supposed to do?" I complain. "Why don't you just kill, him?" I frown.
"Don't, please" She grabbed my arm before I could shut it in her face.
"Fine" I muttered.
"Thanks, Will. We've both changed a lot you know?" She stared at me. "I am pretty content with who I found, are you?" She asked me. I sighed and shut the door. Dark days. I kept the pirate in one of the lab rooms. Not chained, just locked. I had Sinclair bring him food. He didn't even know what happened or who had him. Dark dark days.
