I stared at the wound. My hand still tight around his side.

"We need to find someone who will help" I frowned.

"I'm okay" He breathed out deeply. Suddenly, in the distance I saw two blobs. I quickly grabbed all the water and supplies from the outlaw bodies. The horses ran off after the gunshot. I wrap Deadshot's arm around my neck and I wrapped my arm around his waist. I help him towards the two blobs. We slowly make our way there. Deadshot began coughing loudly and eventually fell over and passed out from blood loss. His face was scratched up from the sand and blood covered him from head to toe. I picked him up and stumbled to their figures.

"Annie?" Mary yells out. They run to me. They stand awkwardly in front of me.

"Save......him" I breathe out and immediately fall to the ground. They shake me to life, we're on a wagon. I fall back into unconsciousness. When I wake up, I'm in a run down room. Old newspapers hung on the walls. It looked like a serial killer lived here. I hear loud footsteps and I began opening drawers frantically trying to find a weapon. I pull out a loose screw and await for the intruder. They open the door and I see Will. He looks so relieved. He ran over and hugged me tightly. I winced a little because of the pain in my shoulder.
"I can't believe it, the doctor said another week" He smiled brightly.
"Where's......" I thought about it for a second. They probably shouldn't know what happened or who he really is.
"That crazy guy, he is fine, he was out for a few days, he actually attacked Mary. She's fine, he escaped after we paid for him to be healed, what an ass" Will muttered.
"Yep, I just felt bad for the guy, didn't want him to die out there, don't even know him" I lied.
"You're a terrible liar" He chuckled.
"Huh?" I frowned.
"You've been out for two weeks, you're in every headline" He shows me the newspapers. Some of the headlines were "Deadshot and The Mistress team up to cause havoc among Fort Worth" or "Deadshot and Lady friend" or "Outlaws on a New Level: Teamwork"
"I can't believe you have an outlaw name, Annie" He loosened his smile. I hear a knock on the door, walks in is the last person I wanted to see.
"Hey, Annie, it's Mark" He smiles quickly and then drops it.
"Get out" I swallow hard.
"I don't want you hanging out with that guy" He stares at me.
"What are you? My dad, because you're not" I spit the words out like acid.
"I know this kid, Ann, I know what is best, he is a no good vermin who shouldn't be alive" He nags.
"Well dad, I'd hate to tell you, but this guy and I, are one and the same" I began to raise my voice.
"It'd be best if you left" Will spoke.
"Well, you have some guy named Matt out here, said he was looking for Jessie? I figured he meant you, that was your Mother's name" He walks out the door and I here footsteps shuffle around until I see Matt walk into my room.
"I'll give you some privacy" Will waves at Matt then leaves.
"Hi, I know this is weird" He frowned and handed me some flowers.
"What are you doing here? It's not safe" I set the flowers on the table.
"Just, I wanted to say that I really like you and I'm sorry the night didn't work out as planned, but I want to give it another shot"
"Matt, I'm sorry, but I'm not who you think I am" I shake my head.
"I know, but when we talked, I knew that was real, and loved that you. Or the way you jumped from roof to roof, that excited the part of me that seeks adventure" He grabbed my hand.
"I'm sorry Matt, but I can't put you in danger, go live your life be happy" I smile and kiss him lightly on the cheek.
"I hope to see you again" He smiles with disappointment and left the room. I stare at the flowers, I can't be with him. He wouldn't make it to the wedding, he'd get killed before then, I sigh. Will walks in after he leaves.

"Oh rejection" He winced.

"Shut up, you don't have a chance either" I crossed my arms.

"What about Deadshot" He smiled and chuckled.

"I see him as a brother, we share a lot in common and we fight like siblings" I smile thinking about some of the stupid arguments we had.

"Good, leaves room for me" He winks. "Mary will probably want to know you're okay, you get some rest" He smiles quickly and leaves. I roll over on my pillow and try to get some sleep. I hear a knock. Another tap. Another but louder. I sit up quickly and look at the window. I see the back of someone sitting on the old window sill with a cigarette in his mouth. I arch my eyebrow and open the window. He turns around and I see Deadshot.

"After you and your gang gets all functioning, meet me here, we have a lot to discuss" He frowns and hands me a map with an X on it. He jumps down from the window and rolled.

"Hey!" I yell. He turns around and puts his hands up as if saying "what?". "How are you so good at jumping off things?" I smile.

"Practice, princess" He smiles back and began walking casually back into town.
