Vampire Cafe (Re Writing)

Chapter Two

I walk out of the school building yawning.

"Man how did I survive today's lessons?" I say to myself as I walk down the stone stairs.

Too bad Shin left early today too. Oh well never mind about that, time to focus on my job interview. I think to myself as I walk down the street.

"It’s peaceful today." I say as the wind blows through my violet hair as I walk and I watch birds fly over my head.

"AHHHHHH! SHOO RAT SHOO!"

I fall to the ground as my eardrums literally burst from that shout. I get up I look to where the noise came from to see a rat run out of the cafe with a man chasing it that looks like the chef with a broom in his hand.

"Ah I'm glad no one saw that!" The man says with a French accent.

"Saw what?" I ask as I sneak behind him.

"Wha!" The man literally jumps out of his skin and turns to me.

"You didn't see anything right, right!" The man says again shaking his hands around nervously.

"Sure okay?" I say with a half-smile confused. I look at the man closely this time. He seems in his late 20's and has gorgeous long blonde hair tied into a loose side ponytail. He also has sea green eyes and a kind smile. Not only that but he is wearing a chef outfit and a hat.

"Anyway what’s a little lady doing here?"

"Oh, I am here for a job interview. This is Le Rouge Cafe is it not?" I ask looking at the cute little cafe to my right.

"Eh, but why would we- Never mind come inside then!" The man says with a smile as he walks me into the cafe.

It’s even cuter on the inside. Nice pink and white stripped wallpaper with luscious brown wooden planks as flooring. There is a little bakery to your right as you walk in with many different cakes and deserts. I guess that is for the morning. Then to your left there is a little archway with red curtains on either side of it. The man walks through the archway with me right behind him.

"Wow!" I mange so say as I see what the room looks like. It’s much darker with no windows. It has black and rich red stripped wallpaper and deep red carpet. There are black circle dining tables with matching black chairs with red cushions. There is a small stage for perhaps someone to play live music. I guess this is for the late evening and night.

"Ah Cloe do you know where Ren is?" The man says to a young woman no older than 25 wiping one of the black tables. She has long light blond hair in a high ponytail, light pink eyes and a bright pink gem necklace. How did I miss her in this room! But what really scares me is why she is wearing a maid outfit. Oh god what have I gotten myself into.

"Louis, why do you- Who is she?" Cloe says changing the question pretty fast as she notices me.

"Ah well this little lady says she has a job interview, so I was wondering-"

"WHAT!" Cloe shouts looking at Louis, then at me.

"But, but, but-"

"What’s all the ruckus Cloe?" A young man walks out of another archway with red curtains and stops when he looks at me. He has dark red hair and blood red eyes. He looks very young and is tall with a few piercings on his left ear and a ring on his right hand.

"So Miss Murasaki you came."

"So you are the one who sent the letter?" I say as I get out the letter out of my bag and hold it in front for everyone to see.

"Ren was it? When do I get to start?" I say with a smile.

"Tonight actually. I need more waitresses."

"But, wait!" Cloe starts to protest.

"Cloe, get Yuki a uniform and show her around."

"Okay." Cloe says with a annoyed face.

"Oh and Louis get to the kitchen."

"Okay!" Louis says with a grin and hurries through the archway Ren came out of.

"Come on!" Says Cloe as she pulls my arm and we go through a few archways.

"Get dressed quickly we have a lot of work to do." She says as she passes me a uniform.

Let me correct that a MAID uniform.

Oh god somehow I was hoping that was not going to happen.
