Vampire Cafe (Re Writing)

Chapter Six

Hi guys! I am finally back with the next chapter! I'm so sorry I haven't updated for such a long time. I have had exams and assignments and uh it was not fun. But since most of them are out of the way now I should be able to update more frequently (says that and doesn't update for another month). Anyways here is the next chapter!

"Where am I?" I think to myself as I am in an unfamiliar room. I look around and see that I am in a bedroom, let me correct that a very EXPENSIVE looking bedroom. The floor is made out of wood and the walls have a unique pattern on the wallpaper, they are also purple and black. There are some beautiful done paintings on the walls too. The double bed is neatly done but what interests me is the two figures that are in front of the bed. It seems like it is of a little girl no older than five and a woman, maybe her mother, but what is weird is that I can't see what they look like. They are just a blur, like something is preventing me from seeing what they look like.

"Mommy, where is daddy?" The little girl asks the woman, confirming that she is the mother.

"Daddy will be back soon, but first Mommy has a job to do!" The mother replies and for some reason with a kind smile but looks at the door with a worried expression.

"Wait a minute! I just said I can't see her fricking face, how do I know that!" I argue with myself while the conversation goes on.

"Does Mommy need my help?" The little girl asks her mother.

"Yep, all I need you to do is stay still for a moment!" The mother whispers as she goes onto her knees.

"Mommy?" The little girl asks with a confused expression. (Again how do I know that?!) The mother though does not reply, instead says words that the little girl and I don't understand.

"Mommy!" The little girl tries again.

"I love you sweet heart!" The mother says just before she falls to the ground.

The little girl however could not respond as she falls into a deep sleep, and me fading into the darkness...

 "..."  I open my eyes slowly, still half asleep. 

"What the heck was that?!" I think to myself as I get out of bed and put on my uniform.

"What weird dream, I didn't get what was happening." I tell myself, stretching a little since my muscles were so stiff. "Oh well, I will think about it later!"

*Yawn* "Why are you so tired Yuki!" I ask in my head while mentally slapping myself. I grab my bag and go downstairs.

"Hi Mum!" I say as I sit down in front of the dining table.

"Eh! Yuki! You woke up earlier than usual! What happened?" My mother asks with a shocked expression as she puts in front of me my usual breakfast after a few minutes. Well I wouldn't be surprised that she was shocked. I rarely woke up early in the morning especially since I came home late last night and went straight to bed, without talking to either of my parents. I was expecting to wake up really late and have needed to skip breakfast. Maybe that weird dream woke me up early?

"What time is it?" I ask while rubbing my eyes waiting for my food to cool. "I couldn't have woke up that early."

"Seven-thirty-"

"I'm going back to bed!" I answer, standing up quickly and getting ready to walk back upstairs.

"Yuki!" My mother shouts.

"Fine, fine!" I reply, sitting back down and eating my breakfast.

"So, how did it go yesterday?"

I put the last piece of bacon in my mouth before I answer. "I got the job and I will figure out the days I will work today, but I might come home a little late. Is that okay?"

"That's wonderful, and of cause just make sure you are careful!" My mother says getting excited.

I smile at her happiness. "If only she knew what I was getting into..."

* * *

I walk slowly to school, not wanting to get there.

"Why couldn't I stay home?" I complain in my head while yawning at the same time.

"Wait a minute!" I think, stopping in my tracks. I reach where the chain is around my neck and lift. The pendant floats in front of my face.

I mentally slap myself.

"I completely forgot to take it off!" I say in my head as I let it drop back under my shirt.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid!" I think to myself. "There is no point in taking it off now since if I put it in my bag someone might steal it. It is quite expensive looking, besides I don't think anyone in my school is a Vampire, and even if there was one I don't think it is one of my friends."

"Good thing my mum didn't notice too or else she would have questioned me a lot!" I laugh out loud at what would of happened if she found out.

"Oh yeah and she didn't even notice my scent changed. Guess Ren was right." I say out loud.

I continue walking again but at a faster pace since I wasted time just standing there. "I probably looked like an idiot just standing there! Oh I hope no one saw me!" I think to myself getting embarrassed.

"Yu-Yuki!" Someone from behind calls out with a surprised tone.

I stop walking and turn around to see Shin looking at me with a surprised expression.

"Oh, hi Shin!" I say with a smile.

Shin though doesn't reply.

"What's wrong? It looks like you just seen a ghost!" I say laughing a little. I was so tempted to say Vampire then.

Shin regains his composure and starts to walk forward to me. He stops with his face just a few centimetres away from mine.

"Wha-what is it!" I whisper my face getting warmer and warmer and my heartbeat beating faster and faster by the second.

Shin then smirks and pulls away, taking what seemed like forever.

"Oh, nothing lets continue walking." He finally replies and walks off in front turning back to his normal self but with his face still with the smirk on. It doesn't help that he puts a cool aura around him too.

"Idiot!" I say for only me to hear as I catch up to him, still with a hint of red on my cheeks.

Shin laughs a little like he heard what I said. But I can't be bothered to respond so we continue to walk to school like nothing ever happened.

Yay finished chapter 6! To all of my friends at school who pestered me to update are you happy now?! Well anyways hopefully I will update again before the end of this month and if there is any mistakes please let me know! Happy Reading guys!
