Riley's POV

I woke up at seven and got dressed and brushed my teeth while humming the alphabet. I went to the kitchen and ate an apple, I wrote a note for Lucas. I wrote:

Lucas,

I know you'll do great today! Have fun with kids! You'll be the best person they've ever hired! Love you.

I went back to my room and kissed Lucas on the forehead and then left. I got in my car and checked the time. It was seven forty five, I still have time to get there. I turned my car on and headed towards the cafe. I took the short cut so I could be a few minutes early. I pulled up to a free parking spot, I turned my car off and walked inside and sat down.

"Are you the girl who called about my store?" The man asked

"Yes, I'm Riley."

"I'm Mr. Lewis." He said

"Nice to meet you Mr. Lewis."

"Nice to meet you." Mr. Lewis replied

"I will be renting the store."

"So do I pay you now? Or later?"

"If you pay now, I have some forms you need to sign and it will be yours." He explained

"I'll pay now, I have a friend who needs to sell her art to earn extra money."

"Is she a good artist?" Mr. Lewis asked

"Good? That doesn't begin to describe her art."

"Do you have any pictures of her art? I would love to see them because my daughters birthday is coming up and she loves art." Mr. Lewis said

"I have this one, she painted this one when she got her fist house."

"That's beautiful." He remarked

"I know."

"Let me meet your friend next week on Wednesday say, 5?" Mr. Lewis asked

"Yeah, I'll let her know."

"Good." He said

"Here's the money."

"Here are the forms." He said while giving me some paper

"Ok, what do I do after I finish signing them?"

"Send them to me in the mail." Mr. Lewis said

"I'll email you my address." He said

"Ok."

"Well I have a meeting in an hour, have a nice day." Mr. Lewis said

"You too."
