Maya's house

Maya's POV

I was waiting for Lucas and Riley to get here. Lucas had told me he was going to propose, so I set up a little " congratulations" party. Everything was set up, the only thing missing was them.

"Ugh what's taking you so long?!"

I went to the kitchen and made a cup of Coke, I heard a knock at the door and rushed to it. I ran over to the door and opened it quickly. It was only my neighbors.

"Can you please turn your music down? My grandkids are sleeping." Mrs. Shana asked

"Sure."

I couldn't say "no", Mrs. Shana is really old and has some sort of illness. I turned the music down and went back to sipping my Coke, until I heard another knock.

"Let us in!" Riley yelled

"What's the password?"

"Peaches! Let me in! It's cold!" Riley exclaimed

"Fine."

I walked over to the door and opened it. Riley rushed inside followed by Lucas. She sat on the couch and huddled herself into her favorite blanket at my house.

"Congrats on the proposal!"

"Th-wait, you knew?" Riley stuttered

"Hehe, yeah."

"I told her because I figured she would wan to know anyway. I asked her if she could throw a small party after." Lucas explained to Riley

"How long ago have you planned this?" Riley asked

"I planned the proposal three months ago, I planned this two weeks ago." Lucas said

"Ok guys, let's get over the planning and start partying!"

I turned on my favorite songs and started dancing. Riley got up and started jumping on the couch, Lucas didn't seem to want to do it so I called Farkle over for a surprise. We haven't seen Farkle in four months, he's been busy with work and other random stuff.

"Hey Farkle."

"Hey Maya." Farkle said

"Is there a chance you can come over? Lucas proposed to Riley and we are celebrating."

"What? Before I did? Lucas is going to get it, and yes I can come. In fact, I'm on my way now." Farkle exclaimed

"K, see you then."

I hung up and went back to dancing. Lucas went to the bathroom so it was me and Riles for a bit.

"So, what was it like to be proposed to?"

"It was amazing, I wonder if my dad knows..." Riley said while thinking

"Well, he should be happy for you. You are one lucky girl."

"Maya, don't get upset. You'll find that one special person one day." Riley explained

"I thought I did find him, a long time ago."

Riley's POV

Maya looked sad, I know one person will love her the way she needs to be loved.

"Maya someone out there is looking for you."

"Hello ladies." Farkle said from the outside window

"Farkle? What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to party!" Farkle yelled

I walked to the door and opened it and hugged Farkle really tight.

"I-can't-breathe." Farkle choked

"Oh! Sorry Farkle."

"It's ok, I missed you too." Farkle said

"Hey Farkle." Maya said

"Hi Maya." Farkle replied

They hugged, but not as tightly as I hugged Farkle. While we talked to Farkle, Lucas came out of, wherever he was.

"Where did you go?"

"To the bathroom, and then somewhere else." Lucas said

"Where?"

"You'll find out-Farkle?" Lucas said

"Hey Lucas." Farkle said

"How are you?" Lucas asked

"I'm great, I heard you proposed to one of my girls." Farkle replied to Lucas

"Yeah, I'm really lucky to have her." Lucas said while smiling at me

"And I'm very lucky to have you."

"Ok guys, enough with the mushy stuff. Let's party!" Maya yelled

We all danced weird and silly. I missed this, just the four of us together. I wish it could always be like this.
