The Stables

Lucas' POV

I drove us out to the stables, in the car Riley grabbed my hand and smiled. Her hand was shaking, I could tell she was nervous about the evening. I wanted her to know that every thing would be fine so I decided to tell her something.

"Don't be nervous, everything will be fine."

"I know, I don't know why I'm shaking," Riley said

I parked by the stables and opened Riley's door, she got out and we walked inside. I let her pick out the horse she wanted to ride. She picked one out with the name "Fluffy."

"This one!" Riley exclaimed

"You want to ride Fluffy?"

"Yes!" Riley yelled

"Ok."

"Let me get the saddles."

"Ok." Riley said

I grabbed the saddles and put one on Fluffy, I hooked the straps and helped Riley on. I picked out my horse, while watching Riley struggle on Fluffy. I picked one out named "Storm." I hooked the saddle and rode over to Riley. I grabbed Fluffy's reins while Storm walked forward.

"Where are we going?" Riley asked

"It's a surprise."

"Aww." Riley whined

I laughed a little, she was so funny. We walked to a small part of the trail. I hopped off Storm. I grabbed something small out of the satchel I was carrying.

Riley's POV

He got off Storm, but why? We were in the middle of a trail. He grabbed something out of his satchel and helped off of Fluffy. He tied their reins to a tree and he walked me over to a stump. He sat me down and bent on his knee.

"Riley Mathews, will you marry me?" Lucas asked

I was shocked, of course my answer was yes!

"Yes, yes!"

He got up and I jumped up and hugged him while tears of joy trickled down my cheek.

"I love you Riley." Lucas said

"I love you too."
