Riley's POV

After I met with Mr. Lewis, I called Maya. She didn't answer, so I texted her a picture of a blueberry scone and said " if you call me I'll get you a blueberry scone." She immediately texted back saying "I'll call you!"

*Buzzzzz buzzzzz*

I grabbed my phone and I heard a loud noise in the back ground.

"Maya, are you listening to music?"

"Uhh, maybe." Maya said

A song was playing in the back ground, it sounded like it was saying I love myself.

"Maya."

"Yeah." Maya replied

"The store is yours!"

"Really? Thanks Riles!" Maya yelled with excitement

"Hold on Maya, Lucas is calling."

"Ok." Maya said

I answered Lucas' call and waited for the connection to get better.

"Hey Riley." Lucas said

"Hi Lucas."

"How is your first day going so far?"

"It's going great, I love hanging out with kids and teaching them. It reminds me of us when we were that age." Lucas explained

"I miss being a kid."

"You were the goofiest kid I ever met, and I love that." Lucas remarked

"Your so sweet Lucas, I need to call Maya back. I need to ask her if we can meet up later."

"Ok, I have to get back to work bye." Lucas said

"Bye."

I pressed the "end call" button and called Maya back.

"I'm back."

"Ok." Maya said

"Can we meet up later by the shop?"

"Sure, what time?" Maya asked

"In ten minutes."

"K, see you then." Maya said

I put my phone back into my purse and headed towards my car. I unlocked my car and got in. I started heading towards the shop, but then I didn't start to feel well. Must be the flu, it's been going around lately. I got to the shop and I saw Maya waiting outside.

"Riles!" Maya yelled

"I'm here, ready to see the inside?"

"Yes!" Maya said with excitement

I unlocked the doors and walked in.

"Wow, I love it I mean it needs work but I love it." Maya said

"Well if you have enough to money we can put apart of our profits together to fix it up."

"That sounds like a great idea, when can we start?" Maya asked

"It will take time, but if we start in a week this place will be done it about two or three months."

"Two or three months?!" Maya exclaimed

"Maya these things take time."

"I know, let's just start whenever we can." Maya said

"Whatever you want, it is your art shop."

"What do you want the name to be."

"Uhhh, what about " Harts Art." Maya said

"I like that."

"Yeah, "Harts Art." Maya repeated
