Vanessa's point of view

"Young love, close the chapter," I sang as I unpacked my bags. "There's no ever after, fell fast, ended faster yeah," I continued, folding away my clothes in a nearby dresser.

"Cause you walked out and left me stranded, nothing left but picture frames," I sang, holding a picture came of me and my real parents. "And I keep on asking myself..."

"How'd we drift so far away, from where we left off yesterday? I'm lonely like a castaway," I sang loudly, setting the frame on the dresser by the lamp.

I continued to unpack, coming across another memory of my parents. I grabbed the locket, opening up the compass. "Eyes closed, all I see is good times disappearing, and I'm trying to hold on," I hummed, smiling at my parents from when they were pregnant with me to the last day I saw them.

Soon, someone came jumping in the room, singing the lyrics loudly. I laughed and then closed the locket, setting down on the bed as I turned around.

"You stopped singing, this is awkward." Arzaylea said and I smiled. "What's up?" She asked and I shook my head.

"Nothing, just caught up in unpacking."

"Need up? Luke's being lazy." She said and I chuckled. "He just plopped down on the couch with a beer." She informed me as she pulled clothes out of my bag.

"But-But Luke is a small child, he doesn't drink beer." I said and pouted as I took my long sleeves, hanging them up. "Liz wouldn't approve."

"Liz wouldn't approve of half the things he does." She told me and I nodded. "Where do you want your shirts?" She asked and I pointed to the large dresser inside of the closet.

She nodded and opened it, setting the folded shirts inside. "Jeans too?" She asked and I nodded.

"The boys are coming over for dinner, I hope you don't mind." She told me and I shook my head. "They're recording tomorrow, so we have a day to ourselves. How about we do a little online shopping?"

"Um sure," I said, although I didn't like the idea of them spending money on me already. They already forcefully bought me food, I don't need them immediately buying me clothes too. "That sounds fun."

"Is that it?" She asked as I grabbed my converse out of the bag, putting them in the bottom of my closet. I nodded and she hummed. "Maybe we'll do shopping tonight and tomorrow."

I laughed and she took the suitcase, telling me she'll put it in Luke's bedroom for me. I nodded and then took my make-up, carefully arranging it by the vanity mirror. I sat down on the stool, putting a different kind of cosmetic in each of the small drawers.

I took the locket and hung it off of the top of the mirror, the way it's sculpted allowing me to do it. I left it opened, the two pictures for show.

I set my Ipod down and then grabbed whatever was left on the bed, chokers, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, rings, etc. and then put them away neatly in the drawers aswell. I made a mental note to label them so I don't forget, and then wrote a physical one as well because I forget easily.

"Let's go bother Luke." Arzaylea spoke and I nodded as I stood up. I followed her downstairs and she cleared her throat.

She began to sing lyrics to songs I don't know and I just watched as Luke watched her, more amused than bothered. "Hi." I said and he looked at me.

"Hi love."

Arzaylea turned the television off and then crossed her arms. "You watch TV day." She pouted and he laughed as he drank some of his beer.
