chapter fifty-five

Vanessa's point of view

"Oh my god." I said and Ashton followed me. "You can't explain that to me Ashton, you can't tell me that he's not smiling and he's not holding her ass and he's not letting her kiss his neck. Don't even try." I said.

"Vanessa he was drunk-"

"That doesn't make it anymore okay-"

"Listen to me-"

"He came back to the hotel room with hickies and love bits and like bad back scratches and I bet he slept with her because I know I didn't do that-"

"Can you please-"

I took off Calum's flannel and threw it at Ashton. "Keep it." I said as I ran out of the studio.

Ashton didn't follow because he had to stay inside for rehearsals that started any minute now. A security guard, Dave now that I got a good look at him, followed me as I ran to the bus.

"Are you okay Vanessa?" He asked as he opened the bus for me. I shook my head and walked in, allowing him to follow me since he did unlock it for me. "What's the matter?"

"I'll show you." I said and he nodded as he shut the door. I pulled my phone out and then opened Twitter as I looked through every update account on my timeline.

I pulled up the one that had '5/4' on their location and then showed him the pictures. "I wasn't present with them that night, I didn't know." He said and I shrugged.

I looked through them all and as soon as I saw them actually kissing, I had enough. I tossed my phone into Michael's bunk and then took the ring off, then the bracelet, and they both followed my phone.

"Calum, he's a little stupid sometimes. Um," he said and I sniffled. "I can't defend his actions but, least you can do is hear him out." He said as his phone rang.

"I don't need explanations, I don't want then. Go answer it, I'm gonna... I'm gonna go to sleep. I can't right now." I said and he nodded as he stood up.

I took my glasses off and then set them down on the table. I put my beanie by my bags and then I wiped my eyes a bit. I changed into sweats and a plain black cropped shirt and then I jumped into a bunk, pulling the blanket over me before shutting the curtain.

I sniffled quietly and then closed my eyes, hoping to dream of clear skies instead of his dark eyes.

"Dude, she's torn apart!"

"I don't remember what even happened alright! I don't even know the girl's name!"

"She woke up crying Calum, Luke had to go in there and cuddle her."

"Luke's gonna kill you Calum."

"I was pissed off my ass, how was I supposed to say no to a girl who could blow me without me going to jail?"

"Can you not think with your dick for a single second? You've crushed her."

"This is her first relationship, how can you do this? First you-you make advances that make her uncomfortable, then you keep doing it, and then you cheat on her? She's fifteen."

"I told you that them dating would end up in a trainwreck!"

"If Calum would have committed to the relationship better it wouldn't be headed in that direction!"

I buried my face into Luke's chest and he rubbed my back softly. "Are you awake Nessa?"

"I wish I wasn't."
