Why is love so difficult to find?
Society, people, and this corrupt world has caused,
Those who desire love to believe that it
Can no longer be found.
Nor wanted to be discovered.
All that society has done ,
Bringing tender and gentile hearts,
To their knees,
Filling their hearts with sorrow,
Clouding their minds with doubt,
And covering their bodies with pain and agony.
Others watch in amusement of,
Souls yearning for one another,
Knowing that they will never find nor reach each other,
Laughing and howling to the sight of them,
Groveling to share their love with others,
And begging for a chance to pick the fruit
From the tree of delight,
And biting into its succulent layers,
And consuming what will never be gained,
The feeling to love, to know love, and be loved by another.
Society has Clutched our hearts,
And clenched them until it bleeds for freedom,
And then thrown into the dark to be consumed by lonlyness,
And we close our eye,
Knowing love is a myth within a legend of a fairy tale.
