Bless you, Christina. Bless you.
Tris grinned from ear to ear as the wind struck face, yanking on her hair, making knots in the shortish locks.
She wanted so badly to whoop, but making more noise then needed was probably a bad idea.

When she's first seen the train round the bend she'd almost fallen off the platform with joy. Then jumping onto the side then lunging in, it all brought her back to her choosing day. She's made this trip with almost thirty people. Some Dauntless, some initiates, all brave and fast.
Her train whizzed through the city, passing old warehouses that once housed Factionless, it took only moments to realize where her train was headed.
The excitement in her gut rolled over and melted into dread and heartache.
She saw everything. The roof top, the hole in the ground, annnd....a blood splatter.
The last one almost made her jump out to investigate, but she held herself back. Andy and Nat had priority.
Tris drew back into her car and squeezed her eyes shut. "The city, the city Trace. Come one. Think of it, no burned down ruins, no dictatorship, no exboyfriends/babydaddies. Only home."
Memories of Madison swirled threw her mind. The city was as old as this one, but cleaner. Alot cleaner. Tris snorted, Evelyn might benefit from a trip to there.
She drowned herself in her thoughts, trying to smother out all Worries, all fear, all troubles with thoughts of her home.
She's said she'd help take down Evelyn, but then she was gone.
Before she knew it, the train was slowing down, she'd reached the city center.
Well, here goes.
Tris threw herself from the train, her feet slammed into the ground. She couldn't quite get them under her in time and went face first into the gritting ground.
Growling to herself about the injustices of life, Tris forced herself up and started walking.
Allegiant had to be around here somewhere.
The streets were cracked and dirty, pilled high with trash that once would have been removed by Factionless. She kept moving.
Shadows lengthened and a cool wind swept across her skin. Tris found herself wishing for a heavier coat.
Nothing moved but her and bits of everything you could think of that had been picked up by the wind.
Tris had just stopped to admire a particularly pretty piece of broken glass when a sack was thrown over her head and several hands grabbed her.
Not bothering to scream, Tris kept her her mouth shut. If it was a random robbery, then they would have checked for witnesses, if it was Evelyn, she'd just die faster. But if it was Allegiant, then screaming would help them keep their low profile.
Tris stumbled along with the hands on her arms, guiding her down the street.
Someone eventually wrapped something around her wrists. Locking them together.
"Now listen very closly, Tris. I want to help you, but most of these people don't." A voice murmmered in her ear, their breath hot through the cloth covering her head. "Don't be stupid, don't be selfless, just follow orders until I tell you different."
She didn't react, she just kept walking.
Tris counted her footsteps and listened to the reverb of the marching. Soon they entered a tunnel and the noise became to much.
After what she thought to be a mile and a half later Tris was shoved into a chair, her arms still behind her. In second her feet were tied to the chair legs and the hood was then removed.
Pitch black greeted her. Shuffles and mutters behind spoke of three men, one one woman. Non highly trained.
Minutes passed before a hinges squealed behind her and a light shine onto her back, casting a shadow into a corner.
"Come on, she's to be left in peace for a little while." The voice had been gruff, deep and scratchy. A male who smoked, probably. She could most likely out run him.
"But we were told-" this voice was feminine. Tris had been correct earlier about there being at least one woman.
"New orders. Whoever got the trains going blew up a good piece of Evie's homebase. We're gonna raid it. See if we can find anything." Smoker again. Dauntless born from his speech. A brut who could fight probably but didn't know much about prisoners. None of them did. They wouldn't have let that man spill so much if they were.
The door shut behind her captures, banishing all light from her cell. Wether Tris opened her eyes or closed them, it made no difference. But she closed them anyway as she focused on her reason for being there. No matter how many scraps she'd gotten into, Nat and Andy always pulled her mind in the right direction. They helped her access a sort of tunnel vision. By seeing only them, she could see all barriers between her and he kids. She could see enough to make a plan.

.........so, plan. Need plan. Need a good plan. So I need to plan. Here I am. Planning.
Her mind was blank. Hours may have pasted but she didn't know anything. Her size, after all these years, still worked to her disadvantage.
With no way to tell time she didn't know exactly how long it had been, but eventually the door opened and footsteps spoke of an approach.
"Well, this is a surprise. I didn't believe it could be possible when I heard."
Tris ground her teeth together. Not her. Anyone but her.
The woman walked around Tris's chair, slowly. Taking her sweet time. When she finnaly had made it all the way around Tris met her gaze.
"Hello, Evelyn Eaton, can I just say that for a baby eating, murdering, backstabbing, vengeful bitch getting on in years, you do look wonderful today. Maybe it's the artificial light of your prison cells."
Tris knew she shouldn't poke a sleeping bear, but she couldn't resist.
Evelyn just smiled. "Oh, how I've missed you, and I wasn't the only one. Peter? Come say hello."
