I rolled my eyes at Robert, Alec's dad. The clave needed me back at Idris, something about giving a new order. I have to go back for the day and be back by tomorrow. While I was gone a mission would be playing out, I was thankful I would have no part in it. Meliorn was a close friend of mine, I was friends with many seelies to be truthful. But I could not stop this mission, it was given by the clave and if I went against them it would be treason. The clave respected me and trusted me, losing that would damage my reputation greatly. If my reputation was damaged then Alec marrying me would do nothing but bring shame to his family, even more than there already is.
"Silver, I trust that you will make this institute great again. Don't blow it over some foolish friendship." He lectured. I scoffed moving pay him before stopping.
"You know, you shouldn't be lecturing me about this. You're the one the clave doesn't trust. Not me, the clave just so happens to both trust and respect me. It's your name that will be made great again, not mine. So I'd watch what you say Robert, because I can easily call of this marriage." I threatened him before walking off to my room. I changed into a more conservative outfit of a form fitting, knee length navy blue skirt, a long sleeved, white crop top, and white heels. After pulling back my long blonde hair, I exited my room and walked to were portals are usually opened. I opened one before stepping through to the homeland of us shadowhunters, Idris.

I was now back from Idris, slightly worried. Alec had gone with the group to the silent brothers, and had yet to returned. I was currently changed and wearing something I was much more comfortable in, black cutout mesh leggings and a mesh shirt with a black bralet under it. I was standing with Lydia, worried as hell.
"You know what, I'm going to go and see how everything's going." I announced before slipping into the black heels that were next to my feet. I had slipped them off a few minutes ago, my feet hurting me.
"Wait a minute, I'm sure everything is fine." Lydia rejected my idea.
"No, I'm going to go help them. They probably are fine, and even if they are I can still be of help. " I said before walking off and portaling to the City of Bones. I started running instantly, hearing grunts of fighting. I ran to where the entrance was, seeing Jace pinned under Alec. Alec sword was pressed under Jace's neck, worrying me greatly. What the hell was he doing to my brother. I ran to them, shoving Alec off and glaring at him.
"Is this what you get from me saying to tell them!?" I yelled, referring to my previous statement about Alec telling his sister and parabati about our engagement. He looked down ashamed and I scoffed.
"You didn't tell them, did you?" I said disbelief lacing my voice heavily. Alec looked up with sorrow, but I turned to my brother.
"What are you talking about?" Jace asked, pissed.
"You know how Alec's engaged?" I asked while smiling sarcastically, on the verge of tears.
"Yeah, to that Lydia bitch."
"He's not engaged to Lydia. He's engaged to me." I said, holding up my left hand where a large rock sat. Betrayal flashed across Jace's face before he turned back to Alec. I sensed a feeling of intrusion and gave them some space. Something had happened, something bad. The only problem was I didn't know what. I watched as Jace spoke, Alec replying before Jace turned around. He walked past me, bumping into my shoulder.
"Jace?" I called out, only to be ignored.
"Jace!" I yelled again, only for him to keep walking. Tears streamed down my face. Why didn't he turn around. He promised he'd always turn around. He promised me. I was pulled into Alec's embrace, I tried pushing him away before breaking down, once again, in his arms.
