"You brought Clary Fairchild into this mess!"
"No! She brought me into this mess!" Jace defended himself.
"You know what, this is your mess. I'm not getting involved with it." I said before turning around and walking back to the institute and to my room. I slipped off my clothes, leaving me in my bra and underwear and slipped into my bed. I believe a long nap was in order, perhaps an all day long nap. Just as I got comfortable and closed my eyes the door swung open. I let out a groan, shooting up to yell at whoever decided to disrupt me.
"What the he'll do you want, puta." I swore in Spanish, glowering at Lydia. She rolled her eyes, walking up to me and pulling off my blanket. I let out a hiss as the cold air hit my practically naked body, rolling up into a ball to try and preserve my body heat.
"Get up and get ready before Alec comes." Lydia said, causing me to sit up.
"Why would he be coming in here?" I asked with an edge to my voice.
"A pack of wolves were attacked by a forsaken." I let out a groan, I hate people. I stood up, walking to my closet but tripped when my door was forcefully thrown open. It startled me, causing me to trip over a pile of clothes. Due to the fact that I was only a few feet away from my door, I fell onto who ever was at the door. I shrieked, whoever caught me had almost immediately dropped me on the floor when they realized what happened. I landed on my back and let out a cry of pain.
"Oh my god! Silver are you okay?" Lydia asked worried, rushing up to me and helping me stand up. I looked at who had both caught and dropped me and glared.
"What the hell Alec!" He froze, his mouth opening and shutting a second later.
"Sorry....." I rolled my eyes and scoffed.
"Whatever Alec, get the hell out." I demanded, shoving him out and slamming the door shut on his face. I spun around to face Lydia.
"You go ahead. I'll meet you guys there, I don't think I can stand to spend that much time with him." I whined slightly, she nodded and walked out of my room. I pulled on a pair of shorts, a flowy crop top, a black meshy cardigan and white sandals wedges. I threw my hair up into a messy but cute bun before walking out of my from and out of the institute. I started the walk to the Jade Wolf Chinese restaurant, getting there in an hour with my advanced speed. I arrived just as Alec and Lydia walked out of the restaurant, walking straight up to them.
"Find anything?" I asked, Lydia had a look of betrayal on her face and walked past me. I stood there confused before looking at Alec.
"What was that about?" He looked down sheepishly.
"I thought you would have told her." He said making me even more confused.
"Told her about what?" I asked, feeling my eyes burn the slightest. Lydia was my best friend, and in many ways my sister. I couldn't stand the thought of her hating me.
"About...us." He said lowly in a voice I almost couldn't hear. I gasped softy, tears now gathering in my eyes.
"How dare you tell her that. I didn't tell her for a reason, Alec." I spit at him before turning around, tears now spilling out of my eyes and running down my face. I choked back a sob, and ran. I didn't know where I was going, but anywhere but here sounded pretty much perfect.
