Izzy and I were dancing in the corner, Simon had just gone to talk to Clary. To say our dancing was bad was an understatement. I know how to dance due to my mother forcing me into dance classes until I couldn't dance anymore due to age, but Izzy was like a floundering fish. I couldn't let my best friend embarrass herself, at least not by herself. I had to dance bad in honor of girl code, besides its not like my boyfriend is here to dance with. I saw Simon walking back to us and danced a bit less terribly, Izzy doing the same as her boyfriend got back to dancing with us. We danced for what seemed like hours before I saw Alec and my boyfriend talking out of the corner of my eye. I smiled widely, rushing over to them only for Magnus to turn the other way and walk up to the person I least expected him to. I made it to Alec in seconds, watching sadly as Magnus walked up to Clary.
"Hmm, playing hard to get." I heard Alec mumble, causing me to frown even more.
"I love a good challenge." I slapped his arm at his next line.
"What the hell are you talking about? Are you trying to steal my boyfriend away from me? I get that your gay or whatever but don't fucking mess with my boyfriend in the midst of your overwhelming gayness, even if I support it like a religion." I sassed, slapping him across the face. The thought of Magnus cheating on me with Clary was bad enough, but with Alec it was heartbreaking. I stormed away from him, running into my brother by accident.
"Hey! Come with me!" He yelled over the loud noises, taking my hand and leading me to a wall that I just so happened to know had a secret passage. I looked at him confused, watching as he felt around before swinging the door open and leading me through. I closed the door behind me, looking at Jace confused and annoyed. He lead me further, revealing both Clary and Magnus in an intimate looking position.
"What the hell!" I exclaimed, glaring at Clary. She looked at us wide eyed.
"Oh my god, Silver this is not what it looks like." She said, taking a step closer.
"Really? Because it looks like your cheating on my brother-" she cut me off.
"I'm not! I swear to dig I wasn't, I could never do that to Jace." She said, probably thinking she dodged a bullet. She honestly thinks that I believe her?
"Oh, so you would do it to me?" I asked while glaring murderously.
"What do you mean!?" She asked frustrated. I scoffed, that bitch.
"You seriously forgot that Magnus is my boyfriend? Did you really think I'm that dumb?" I asked pissed off. Her eyes widened and she didn't say anything. I had walked closer to her while talking so I was right in front of her. I slapped her across the face, leaving a handprint before running off and deeper into the institute. How could they do this to us? I will never forgive them, ever. I broke down, balling my eyes out. I couldn't keep going and eventually slid down a wall. I tried muffling my sobs, my hand covering my mouth. I sat there for what seemed like hours before I heard footsteps. I looked around, not seeing anything before standing up cautiously. Something jumped out at and attacked me, I screeched loudly and shoved it back. Finally getting a good look at it before it attacked me again, it was horrifying. I screamed, being shoved backward and into a wall. I tried to steady myself but couldn't due to my heels. Crying even harder than before, I didn't bother staying around after it ran off. I immediately got up and ran the other way, I found my way to a more open area and stopped. I hid behind boxes and covered my mouth, muffling my sobs again. This was not happening! This is the worst day in the history of bad days. First I am awkward as fuck with Alec and will never be able to show my face around him again, then my boyfriend cheats on me with one of my best friends, and then I'm going to be killed by this thing! I hate my life. My crying hadn't stopped or slowed and I was eventually going to pass out from crying so much. I could hear footsteps again and I immediately froze, this was it, I'm going to be killed. The footsteps stopped and for awhile it was silent. I slowly crawled further away and to a place where I could see whoever was out there. I peeked through, sighing in relief as I caught sight of Jace, Clary, and Magnus. Being with them was better than being with whatever that thing was. I sprung up and slowly edged out of my hiding place. Once in the open I stared at them wide eyed, I was still crying heavily but it was silent. Jace saw my shaking figure and turned to face me. I ran to him and buried my face into him, sobbing into his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and held onto me, but I could tell he was freaked out. That thing must have found them too. I noticed a change in Jace's posture and pulled away confused.
"Silver?" He asked while looking at my tear stained face confused.
"Yeah?" I asked quietly.
"Jace?" I heard that backstabbing bitch asked relieved. Jace turned to her but was cut off by that thing popping out again. I shrieked loudly, feeling Magnus pull me with him as he hid and left the two to fend for themselves. I struggled against his grip not wanting him to touch me, but fell slack when it pierced Jace's throat with this thing. I screamed, tears starting to fall yet again. This can not be happening! Everything that happened next was a blur, someone killed the thing and as Jace, Clary, and Magnus rushed off, I was left alone and confused.
-regular Silver's pov-
I gasped, shooting up. Oh my god! Izzy was arrested! I looked at my surroundings warily, taking notice that no one was in the room before getting up. I walked through the halls, catching sight of Alec pushing someone aside and walking into a room. I ran after him, pushing the guard aside and opening the door. It revealed Alec sitting down while Izzy was about to.
"Silver?" Izzy asked shocked. I nodded, both of us rushing to each other. I pretty much jumped on her, bringing us to the floor as I held onto her.
"Oh thank god your okay!" I exclaimed, worried as hell for my parabati. She chuckled and I eventually got up and released her. She motioned to Alec with her eyes before pushing me towards him slightly. I took this as her message to sit down, and did exactly that. I sat down next to Alec, leaving a few inches between us and looked up at Izzy confused. She huffed and narrowed her eyes at us.
"Do I have to do everything myself?" She mumbled before sitting down next to me and pushing me into Alec. I hissed, feeling her side dig into my wound. She mumbled an apology before wrapping her arm around me and cuddling into my side. I sat awkwardly, trying to edge away from Alec but Izzy wouldn't let me.
"Your marrying him for gods sake! Just cuddle with him already!" She exclaimed frustrated. I shrugged.
"Oh what the hell." I said before doing the same to him as Izzy was doing to me.
