Love triangle

It was a bit awkward between Louis and I after the 'almost' kiss.  I was trying to call him to see if he would want to hang out but everytime i call i get the same thing. "Hello this is Louis I can't come to the phone right now. Leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!" I can't help but think he is avoiding me.  

I decided that I was tired of calling so I was going to go to his room and see if hes there.

I changed into a pair of high waisted denim shorts and a simple pink tank top and made my way over to his room.  I cautiously brought my hand to the door and knocked. Seconds later i was greeted by the famous Niall Horan. He looked at me confused. "Can I help you with something?" He asked showing off his adorable smile. 

I couldnt help but smile back. "Yeah actually, is Louis here?" I asked politelty. You could be see his smile falter a bit, but he quickly hid it with a bigger smile.

"No sorry, he just left to go on a date." He said. What? He's on a date? My brother was right about him, but what hurt the most is that i started to think he was different and that he kind of likes me. 

"erm all right well, just tell him Maya stopped by." I say quitely and walk away. But before i can walk away, Niall grabs my arm.

Niall's POV

Just as she was about to leave I grab her arm. I wasnt going to let a beautiful girl just walk away. "you can stay if you want. I mean the lads are gone and I'm the only one here." I ask her.

She thinks for a second and then simply shrugs her shoulders. "sure." She said and walks ahead of me into the room. I close the door and make my way over to her.

"So, you know Louis how?" I ask her and she looks down for a second. 

" I met him on the beach a few days ago and we hung out a few times." she said with a sad look on her face but then smiled at me. My eyes widened, she had the most beautiful smile I had ever saw on anyone before and i couldnt help but stare. "Niall, whats wrong? Do i have something on my face?" she asked worriedly.

"No, your just really beautiful!" I said but quickly covered my mouth with my hand. I could feel my face get hot and she just blushed and looked at the ground.

"Hah, um thanks Niall." She said shyly. 

Then we talked for hours and hours, I felt like I had known her my whole life. We had so much in common and it shocked me how quickly i was having feelings towards this girl. It was getting late and we decided to watch a movie. She chose mean girls, much to my displeasure but i gave in. We were sitting on the couch, her head on my shoulder and my arm around her waist, I soon heard her breathing steady and knew that she had fallin asleep. My eyes started to fell heavy and i drifted into a deamless sleep. 

Louis' POV

I had agreed to go on a date with Meghan, but only because I had promised Harry.  Harry met a girl on the beach yesterday and she only agreed to go on a date with him if he brought a friend to go with her friend and of course harry had to choose me. 

Dont get me wrong Meghan was very pretty but not compared to Maya. I felt a little guilty for going out with Meghan tonight because of the almost kiss me and Maya had.  

The date was finally over and I was making my way down the hall to my room. I dug through my pockets to find the key and pulled it out. I unlocked the door. When I entered the room it was pitch black so i flicked the light switch and right there in front of my eyes was Niall and Maya cuddling on the couch. My heart shattered at the scene played infornt of me. I coughed loudly and Maya's eyes started to flutter open. She looked around for a minute until her eyes landed on me, all she did was glare and stand up.

"What are you doing here Maya, with Niall?" I asked calmly.

She just simply rolled her eyes  "Sorry i came to see you but Niall here told me you were on a date so i stayed and watched a movie." She spat back at me.

"Whats wrong? Why are you so mad?" I asked her.

"WHY AM I SO MAD? Maybe because you played with my feelings, you led me to believe you actually liked me. Then I come here and find out you went on a date!" She said angrily, then stomped out of the room.
