A Week Later
Sahara
"This better not be a waste of my time," I mumbled to myself as a grabbed my purse and made my way outside to my car.
After a week of nonstop calls and texts, I finally gave in and decided to finally sit down with Jordan. I realized that we never got any closure on our relationship. The day that I left was the last day that I we ever saw or spoke to each other. I also just wanted to know why he treated me the way that he did. Ever since I met Jordan, I was nothing but loyal to him but I didn't get the same in return.
I took a deep breath before getting out of my car and I headed into the restaurant that he asked me to meet him at. I looked around for a minute before I spotted his head at a table. The waitress led me over there and he stood up.
"Hey Sahara," he smiled.
"Hi," I replied.
"Um these for you," he handed me a box of roses.
They were beautiful, but I wasn't going to show him any type of emotion. I needed to be tough."Thanks," I took them and set them on the table.
