Ring Ring
"Arrrgghhhhh!" I grunted as I rolled over to answer my phone. "Hello?" I said groggily.
"Hannah! I need to ask a huge favour of you." My brother Adam said on the phone.
"What do you need?" I asked. My brother knew I would do anything for him.
"I need you to take over one of my shoots today."
"Okay who is it, where is it, when is it, and why aren't you going to be there?" I asked him trying to clear up a lot of things very quickly.
"That was a lot of questions. Get a pen and paper ready. Pierce the Veil is in town and I have to shoot A Day to Remember today, but they are going to be at SOMA and I'm not sure what time we are arriving in San Diego but I will text you when we are. I want you to spend the whole day with us to get to know them better." He said talking very quickly. My handwriting was messy to begin with, but when I'm writing fast, it's barely eligible. I just hoped I remembered what I had to do.
"I thought you were touring with Pierce the Veil, why wouldn't you shoot them?" I asked.
"Because, I forgot I had ADTR booked and it's at the same time as the show. So will you do it?"
"You know I'd do anything for you dude."
"Thank you so much. I will text you when we are coming into town."
I hung up and flopped back into bed. "Today was supposed to be my day off!" I said to myself as I got out of bed. I had a quick shower and made my way to the kitchen. As soon as I opened the fridge a wave of rancid smell hit me. "Wow, I really should clean this fridge out more often." I closed the door and sat down at my desk, which was cluttered with prints and camera gear. I cleaned off the space around my laptop and logged in. I went to my browser and searched 'Pierce the Veil'. I figured I should know the basics before I met them.
There were four members in Pierce the Veil, Vic, the lead singer and guitarist, Tony another guitarist, Jaime the bassist, and Mike the drummer. My breath caught when I saw a familiar guy with beautiful tattoos come across my screen. I shuffled through a couple pictures until I found one that was special to me. "Mike." I whispered as I remembered the day we first met, and the picture I took as he left.
My phone's beeping brought me out of fanatsy land. I had been thinking of Mike ever since that day, I guess our paths will cross after all. I looked at my phone, Adam texted me telling me they were home, at the guys place, followed by an address. He told me to come as soon as possible.
I went to my room to get freshened up a little and left. It didn't take me long to get there they lived just a couple blocks from my apartment. There was a lot of people there when I drove up. I guess they had a party everytime the guys were home. I saw my brother and ran up to him and gave him a hug. It was hard not having him around a lot, I mean, he was the one who raised my after our parents died in a car accident when we were young. I always wanted to grow up just like him, and I guess I was well on my way to doing so.
"Hannah! How are you, I missed you like crazy!" he yelled as he picked me up and swung me around.
"Ha ha. I missed you too, Alien!" He smiled when I used his nickname.
"Come here I want to introduce you to the guys." He lead me over to a group of people sitting around a campfire drinking and laughing. "Hey guys! There is someone I want to introduce you to."
They all looked up at me and I started feeling anxious. "This is Hannah, my little sister, she is taking over the shoot tonight."
I got an arrange of hello's and hey's from everybody there. "This is Vic, Jaime, Tony, and Mike." Adam said pointed to the different members of Pierce the Veil.
"Hello Hannah." Mike said as he grabbed my hand and kissed it.
"Mike, it's nice to meet you." I said trying to keep my stomach from flip flopping around.
"She's kind of hot." I heard Tony say to Vic.
"But it looks like Mike as already called dibs." Vic replied.
"I am not a piece of meat, nobody has dibs on me." I said making Vic look embarassed. "But thank you for the compliment Tony." I smiled in his direction. He smiled back, and it was the cutest thing I had ever seen.
"So why aren't you shooting us today Adam?" Jaime asked Adam.
"I forgot I had another shoot with A Day to Remember today at the same time as the show, I'm sorry guys, I hope you don't mind Hannah filling in for me." Adam said.
"Hey, maybe if she's better then you we will have to take her on the rest of the tour with us." Vic said.
"Well, I did teach her everything she knows." Adam joked.
"Hannah would you like a drink?" Tony said from behind me, I jumped because I hadn't seen him get up.
"Sure, I would love one."
"We have to go soon, guys. We have a lot of shit to get done today." Mike said.
"Hannah is going to shoot all of today, I want to see how she is doing. Is that okay Hannah?" Adam asked me.
"Of course it is, I love a challenge." I winked at Vic who just chuckled.
Tony came back with a Red Solo Cup and handed to me. "Let's finish our drinks, have something to eat, and get started with our home town fun, what do you say?" Tony said and they all nodded with agreement.
"Cheers!" Mike said and everybody raised there cups. I grabbed my camera for a perfect photo op. The finishing product looked wonderful.
