Madelyn
I walked out of Justin's bedroom after changing into some warmer clothes and into the living room where Justin, Hannah, and Bevin waited. My hair was in loose curls and I wore my usual makeup which was mostly mascara and a pair of natural false lashes.
I walked into the living room and Justin looked me up and down before looking at me weirdly. "What?" I asked confused.
"You're going to be cold, that's not enough layers." Justin said and I let out a laugh. I grabbed my coat hanging from their coat rack and slipped my arms through it. Justin walked up to me to me and did the same. When I had my coat on and I was all ready, I waited for Justin to do the same. "Where are your gloves?" he asked.
"When I was packing I didn't exactly worry about if I had gloves, Justin," I said with a smile. Justin opened a closet door and dug through it until he pulled out a pair of knit mittens and tossed them to me. "Thank you." I said and put them on. I had remembered a gray knit beanie and I put it on my head. Now I was ready to go. "Where's Hannah?" I asked once I noticed she wasn't here like I thought.
"She left already. Are you ready to go?" Justin asked and I nodded my head. I looked at Bevin and she was sitting on the couch watching Keeping up with the Kardashians. I walked over to her and sat down.
"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" I asked and she nodded. I felt bad leaving her here but she had to head back to New York tomorrow.
"Yeah, I'm sure. I have an early flight tomorrow." She pulled me into a hug and my heart sunk. I didn't want her to leave but unlike me, she had a job she had to focus on.
"Have fun alright Mads? Enjoy this time with Justin. You both deserve to be happy and if you need anything, anything at all, call me. I will be here as soon as I can." Bevin said and I nodded. I tried to hold in the tears and I did. I pulled away from her and she smiled.
"I will, by Bev." I said and she smiled and waved. I walked back to Justin and he grabbed my hand. We walked out of his apartment and to his car together. "Are you sure you're able to drive Justin?" I asked and he chuckled and opened the door for me.
"Yes Mads, I'm fine." I smiled and Justin shut my door. He got into the driver's seat and started his car up. We started driving and Justin pulled onto the highway.
"Are you excited?" I asked and he smiled.
"Yeah I haven't seen my friends in a while. Are you?" he asked and looked at me.
"I mean yeah, I'm excited to see the people you've met but I'm kind of scared too," I told him. Justin put his hand on my thigh and squeezed it in a comforting way.
"Don't be nervous baby, I'm sure you're going to have a fun time and Hannah will be there. There's also a little cabin they have up here so if you get cold we can always go inside." Justin told me which made me feel better.
After about ten minutes on the highway, Justin took an exit and drove for about five more minutes. Justin pulled into a driveway and my jaw dropped. The cabin was beautiful but that isn't why my jaw dropped. There were hundreds of people here! Cars flooded the driveway and I saw huge flames from behind the house.
"Whoa, I thought this was a small bonfire!" I said surprised and looked over at Justin. His face looked exactly like mine.
"That's what I thought too, I guess word got out." Justin got out of the car and walked around to my side. I opened the door and Justin grabbed my hand. I shut the door behind me and I felt the cold air hit my face. Damn, it was a lot colder than I thought. A lot of the girls looked at Justin and I. I heard some whispers about me along the lines of, "Is that Madelyn Smith?"
