Chapter 6

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang mga sumunod na nangyari. Ang tanging natandaan ko lang ay yung sobrang takot at pag-aalalang bumalot sa puso ko, yung pag-iyak ko. After that, everything seems mute. Nagkagulo sila, puro hindi pag sang-ayon ang mga hinaing na makikita mo sa mukha ng mga gangsters. Ngunit wala akong narinig sa mga sinabi nila.

Hindi ko rin alam kung paano kami nakarating dito sa isang kwarto.

"Yin," tawag sakin ni Jayvee na nagpawala sa pagkatulala ko. Lumingon ako sa kanya, "Are you okay now?" He asks.

"No," sincere kong sagot.

He chuckles, "Silly."

I gave him a death glare and said, "Silly? Is that some kind of joke to you?! Evil Princess literally wants your head, she wants you dead, Jayvee! Do you think that is silly? Do you think I now have the strength to protect you from her?! Do you think I can even face her huh?!" sigaw kong litanya sa kanya.

He gave me an exasperated sigh and says, "Do you think I will let that happen?"

"Even though," pagmamatigas ko.

"Carlie Lilian Ravena, are you belittling me?"

I squinted my eyes, "Of course not!"

He smiles, "Then no worries. Besides, yes, I do think you already have the strength to protect me from her. Yes, I do think you can face her. Heck! You can even fight her, Yin." he chuckles. "You are more than what you think you are, Lilian. And I love you for that." and then he sealed my lips with his.

That's when Khaylie and Chandler barged in the room. Of all times!

"My virgin eyes!" pag-iinarte ni Khaylie. Umiling lang si Chandler, as if shrugging away the image.

Jayvee coughs, became serious and asks Khaylie, "What was that about earlier, Goddess?"

"Well, UNO, you brought that midget," pertaining to me. "Mahirap na. They were all ready to attack earlier if we didn't butt in."

"Well, Goddess, you shouldn't have." sagot naman sa kanya ni UNO.

"Why? What do you mean?" Khaylie questions him. At the same time Chandler says, "No way, UNO! You aren't serious, are you.?"

"Of course I am." UNO confirmed Chandler.

"Sandali. Ano na naman ba yan, Edwardo?" singit ko sa usapan nila.

"My love, you are already exposed as Pain Princess. I don't know how it happened but everyone already knows who Pain Princess is." I gasped. "And I'm about to ask all of them for you to be under my astéris' protection."

"Astéri?" Nagtatako kong tanong. Sino na naman yung mga yon?

Si Khyalie ang sumagot sakin. "Gang members of The Infinity are called Astéri, the Greek word for star."

Astéri. Star. Jayvee's tattoo on his back.

"But, why do I have to be under your protection?" I asked the three of them.

"Baby sis, not only we have found out the reason of Evil Princess' comeback, but also you are n-next." nahihirapang sagot ni Chandler sakin.

"That only make things more magulo." maarte ko pang sagot sa kanya. "Care to enlighten me more?"

Lumipas ang ilang segundo, wala ni isa sa kanila ang sumagot.

That's when Cyrus Aguilar came in.

"You're next to Ashnaira Castro, cousin."
