"Hold your fire! They are back! Open the gate." screamed Bellamy's voice.
We were returning to the camp, followed by two Grounders on horses with torches. We spent almost the whole day trying to make them understand that we can't gave Finn, without any result.
"Power up the gates. Roll-out positions." screamed another voice and I recognised as being my dad's.
I was still crying silently. I had done this since Lexa, their commander, told us what they want. I wiped out the tears, but they kept falling down. I was tired and dizzy and I couldn't wait to see Bellamy's face again and to feel his warm hand over mine, trying to calm me. This always calmed me down and I hoped that will help me this time too. As reading my mind, Clarke hold my hand, but it wasn't Bellamy's.
I didn't like this. I became too addicted to him. They opened the gate and we entered back to the camp with sullen faces. Bellamy, Abby, Raven, Finn and my dad walked up to us with concern etched across their features.
"Shut the gate!" I screamed to them, looking at the Grounders.
"You ok?" asked Finn to Clarke.
"You can't be out there, Spacewalker." I said using his nickname, instead of his real name, just in case the Grounders could hear us.
I ran in Bellamy's arm and he hugged me very tight, kissing my forehead and keeping my cold hand in his.
"What did she say?" asked us Abby, that was followed by Raven and other people. "Is there a chance for a truce?" she added.
"Yes." I responded still keeping Bellamy's hand in mine, trying not to tremble and trying to avoid making eye contact with anyone.
"What's wrong, Kit-Cat?" asked Finn looking at me and I felt the small tear appearing in the corner of my left eye.
"They want you," I answered looking at the ground. "If we want a truce, we have to give them Finn," I added staring desperately at Abby. "That's their offer." I managed to finish.
"That's not an offer." Raven snapped at me.
"It's punishment. For what happened at the village. Blood for blood." told Finn and I force myself to look at him.
"That's insane." spoked Bellamy for the first time since we arrived back.
"If we refuse, Kitty?"
"They attack, Abby. Trust me, we tried everything we could, but they will not give back." I said and I finally let the tears flow, not caring if they saw me weak.
"Say we give him up!" screamed a man, looking at us with a demanding stare. A small crowd gathered around him and they look at us like we are insane for discussing him and not giving Finn to the Grounders immediately.
"Get rid of him!" another voice spoked.
"Easy, people." tried to calm them my father.
"Give him to the Grounders." demanded him again and Raven prepared herself to attack him but Clarke stopped her.
"Hey, Raven. Raven. Raven, listen to me. Nothing is gonna happen to him. I promise, ok?" told Clarke.
"I'm not dying for him. Spacewalker burned three months of oxygen from the Ark. He should've floated a long time ago. Throw him out!" screamed the same man.
"Back off!" Raven yelled and charged to him. However, my dad stepped in front of her, with a gun in hand. I saw her stumble besides the guards that follow my dad and they lead her inside what used to be the Ark.
