Third person POV
Bellamy couldn't believe it. He didn't waited for his friend to finish and started to run through Arkadia.
She was there. In front of him. Her hair, that was usually smooth, was now a mess. Her eyes, that always were bright, now were almost opaque. She looked fragile and exhausted. Her hands were full of scratches, cuts and bruises and her white shirt that wore the last time he saw her was soaked in fresh blood. Her pants were ripped and she didn't have shoes anymore. But in rest she seamed just fine. She was alive, and she was back, back where she belonged, next to him.
He went in her direction and hugged her tightly. At first, she tensed a little, but then she put her arms in his waist too, inhaling his scent. He helped her to arrive at their room and he undressed her slowly, and then showered her, kissing the all her wounds. After that, he dried her and gave her a shirt of his, because all the ones she had were too tight and it was better for her to wore a larger one. He patched her wound on the belly that looked more ugly and then put the shirt on her. Because she was so small was almost like a dress for her, like that one she wore when she returned the first time from Mount Weather.
The girl just stood there in silence, hugging him and exhaling loudly."She... I couldn't save her." she said after a while and started to cry. Bellamy wiped her tears and kissed her head.
"It wasn't your fault."
The girl stood on the bed and he stood next to her, caressing absently her hands, trying to not touch the scratches she had on it. For a hour or two she didn't say nothing and he respected that. He wanted to speak with her but he wasn't sure how if this wasn't only a dream and he was scared that if he destroyed the silence, he would woke up and he wanted to stay with her longer.
"You ok?" the girl asked and Bellamy chuckled bitterly at her. "You seem so far away. Are you glad that I returned?"
"Listen to me. When Raven told us that everyone inside that damn mountain died and I realized that you are dead, I thought that I deserved it. That losing you was my punishment, for everyone I killed since we landed here. And all I wanted was to die. But now, I've made something monstrous and I have to live it. And then Christian tells me that you're alive. And I know that I don't deserve such a miracle. I understand if you hate me, or if you don't want to be near me anymore but I am glad that I will be able to protect you. And I swear to God that you will never be hurt again!"
"Bellamy Blake. I love you. I don't care what you did. I told you, I'm with you. Always."
After that she explained him that she managed to escape from the mountain using another door but she was hurt and then she met some Azgeda people and because she was scared she decided to ran till the camp. She didn't tell him about the other Azgeda assassin or about the fact that she knows that he killed the Grounders. For some unknown reason to her, she decided to hide the fact that she was saved by Rhydian.
"It was a memorial, you know. For the victims," he added slowly and gave her the Iliad. "It was supposed to let this at your memorial but I couldn't get rid of it," the girl took the book and kissed him gentle. "I'm a monster. Just like you said..."
"Bell. You're not a monster. You only tried to save us. Maybe you don't take always the best decisions, but don't look at the one that died. Look at the ones we saved. You're a hero but in the same time you're still human, baby. The humans make mistakes."
---
For the rest of the day we stood there alone, being interrupted just when Alain and Marcus came to see me, and when Abby wanted to verify my wound. In the night Bellamy, came with food but I sensed that something was wrong with him.
