You wake up to face the new day. My new self coming out of its chrysalis. Today you'll live life like you're doing to die tomorrow, well you could. You could die this evening.
Let's focus on the positive. You put on the clothes that you assume Zoey, or Isabell left out for you. The white shirt fits loosely, but tightens around the waist with a corset. The brown skirt flows around your ankles. You look okay. You walk quickly outside. It's a brisk morning. You walk to the beach, just to thaw your heart a bit. You've always felt calmer around the ocean. You're surprised to see little Nina. She stares up at you. "Hi missy, mama and daddy were talking about you last night," she says carelessly. If only she knew the context behind their words. "They were very loud, it was scary," she says. Nina wraps her little arms around her legs and makes herself into a tiny ball. You sit next to her, and do the same. "Oh?" Your curiosity gets the better of you. "Mama said you were a bad influence, and dada said something about you being sick," she pauses to look up at you, "Are you okay missy?" You smile down at her, "Of course darling. Just so you know, everything'll be alright." She stares up at you. For someone so tiny she has such big eyes. They're his eyes. She has Aphmau's hair. Overall she's beautiful, she'll be just like her mother. "Mr. Gar-Gar keeps coming over," she says quietly. You'll assume that's Garroth. "Do you know where he is?" you ask. You need vengeance, for hurting all of the people you've ever felt a bond with. You won't call that bond love, not while all these emotions are still churning inside of you. "He's probably at the guard tower with my daddy," Nina says. You pat her head. "Again, everything will work out," you reassure her. "I like you missy!" she exclaims. You stand to hide your grimace. On toward Garroth.
