(First I want to say thank you for all the support this book has been getting! Y'all are awesome!)

I awake in a brightly lit room. There are a ton of windows. Some woman in a white dress immediately rushed over to me.

"Alert the lord! Y/N has woken!" she says. I stare at her with curiosity. Finally, she explains, "You're in the medicinal center. Oh! And I was able to heal those burns too.-" you tune out the rest, staring down at your arms and legs in astonishment. They're bare of bruises and burns. You could have died and this one woman cured you.

"What was it?" you ask, interrupting her.

"Excuse me?" she asks, taking a blood sample.

"How did you cure it?" you ask again, absolutely mystified.

She looks at you as if you were crazy, "It was just a simple antivirus. You had a mutated strain of the chicken pox. It also reacted different to your blood type."

The chicken pox were causing you such agony?! Unheard of! Well, you can't look into the past now. Speaking of the past, where is Laurance?!

You try and stand but your legs give out. Oh right, you were stabbed. The wound has healed a bit, scanning over; but it still pulses in pain.

Suddenly, Cadenza bursts into the room. Laurance and Nina quickly file in behind her. When they find me on the floor, Laurance is quick to scoop me into a giant hug.

"Thank Irene!" he whispers in my ear, holding me tighter, "Don't ever make me worry like that again..." He kisses you. It's so sweet, you feel as if it lasts an eternity. As he breaks away you stare into eachother's eyes, wondering how you could have ever lived with out him.

Your reverie is interrupted by a cough at the door. You and Laurance both look over to see Aphmau. Immediately your eyes turn to fire. You reach for your knife but find it not to be there.

"Calm down, Y/N," Cadenza explains, "We've signed a peace treaty. Aphmau just wanted her daughter. It was a fight out of love, not hate."

You nod, hopping over to Aphmau. "Friends?" you ask with an outstretched hand.

It's hard to forgive, and impossible to forget the things that woman did to you. Yet, once she was a little girl, afraid of her own mother. I want to be able to help her get past her childhood, as I get past mine. Also, though she has done wrong: she isn't the only one at fault.

She takes your hand and nods. You look into her eyes and see sincerity. She gives you a sheepish grin to return your warm smile. Garroth comes into the hallway and Aphmau goes to him. You can see how happy they are. Laurance comes and wraps an arm around your waist as you watch as Aphmau and Garrothh leave.

Little did you know, this was the beginning of a new chapter of your life.
