Angelica's pov
Where am I right now? Well that's easy, I am in the oh so wonderful land that makes dreams come true. It's also the place where I am not my usual dark depressing self. It's where I'm happy. A place I rarely visit anymore.
Today was another normal day for me, except it wasn't. I woke up on time, I listened to music but my bus was late. Not just a few minutes late but like half an hour. That was the beginning of my totally awful day. I was 40 minutes late for school but I still made it in time for orchestra. Jake gladly wasn't there, or that's what I thought. Thirty minutes later he waltzed right into the small room. He didn't even talk to me once. Hell, he didn't even look at me once.
The rest of my day went on like usual though. Well, except for the fact that JJ is still plotting against me. I left my class class with JJ right next to me. Everything was going just for me until I feel this extremely strong tug on my bag. Of course it was no one other than JJ trying to make me wait up for Jake. This time I wasn't able to escape form JJs grip so easily. He kept my bag in his clutched fist and told Jake to grab it and not let go. Which he actually did for a little while until further for some reason, he let go. The rest of the way to orchestra tutoring I yelled at JJ to tell me what he told Jake when I close enough to hear. (JJ was whispering in Jakes ear and pointing at me). He kept his mouth shut.
In orchestra tutoring Ms. Michele made me and Jake sit in the same room alone for the whole session. It was awful, but only for the first half. I was listening to Blink-182 when he was talking to Tessa. They seemed to be getting a lot closer than I remember. Every time I would see Tess touch Jake my heart sank lower and lower down the pool of depression. Tess was sent out of the classroom so it was just me and him together. At first we just ignored me as I practiced playing Lorde's royals and when I was done with that and I started flipping through music that's when he glanced over at me.
"So whatcha playin?" He asked me as he started flipping through my music. "Uggh. J-just f-flipping around I g-guess." Was my oh so attractive response. The rest of tutoring was pretty good. I learned to get comfortable around Jake again and he even taught me how to play a little bit of bass, and in repayment I taught him how to play cello.
Walking out of the school was comfortable again which was very good. I finally excepted the fact that Jake likes Tessa. Maybe I can live with it after all. As soon as Tessa left I was able to ask the one question that's been haunting me for days. "Did you block me?" I quietly whispered just barely audible. "No. But my phone has been acting up lately. Some numbers I don't get their messages even though they went through. I'm going to check my phone to see if you were just in case though. I miss texting you and walking to the bus with you." It was those three sentences that made my miserable day all worth while.
