Ch.11 Part.1

Jewel POV:
Was that always there?!
I pulled away from the hug.
John looked at me confused, " what's up" he asked.
I pointed behind him, the blood trail led down the hill.
" what the.." He said.
I stood up and started following the trail of blood.
It led to the path way, then led into the woods.
Little splatters of blood was scattered along the road and led down it.
" John follow the one that goes along the road I'll follow this one" I said point to the trail leading into the woods.
" ok on it" he said.
I started walking along the trail.
It led me deep into the woods, finally it came to the end.
However at the end was a dead walker, with several bullet holes and knife cuts along its body.
" oh no" I said before running back to the house.

John POV:
I followed the trail the best I could, it almost disappearing every few feet.
It led down the street and towards jewel's house.
I suddenly spotted a pile of green leafs.
It was odd for several reasons, the first being its summer and the second being they're green.
I knew it was put there intentionally.
I moved the leafs around finding a bloody knife and pistol.
What's this doing here?
Jewel came running behind me.
" what's up" I asked.
" no time we have to go to the house, NOW!" She screamed.
" ok, ok let's go" I said running towards the house.
I wonder what's got her in a fuss.
A walker, a wild animal, I'm not sure.
We continued running to the house, I realized the sun was just now up.
We ran inside and Jewel ran upstairs.
" can you tell me what's up now" I yelled.
When I didn't get an answer I headed upstairs.
I went towards her room first, but didn't find her?
" Jewel where are you" I asked.
Again no answer.
I walked into my room finding Jewel with a pistol in hand.
" what.. Jewel what's going on" I asked.
I looked over at bens bed, he was now awake.
His eyes were full of fear, " j..Jewel please" Ben said.
" Jewel stop what's wrong" I yelled.
Paisley came bursting in, " what's all the noise about..." She yelled but stop when she saw Jewel pointing her gun at Ben.
" Jewel what the hell" she yelled.
