Ch.29

Jewel POV:
" they're here!" I yelled pulling out my two swords.
These other people, were they just looking for their friend or wanting us dead, I couldn't risk anything so going for a attack is the best thing we could do.
John and Ben raced to both sides of me ready to fight.
" where's paisley" I ask.
" I'm not sure, but we don't have time get ready to attack" John yelled.
I look up at the treetops seeing 6 objects moving towards us.
" no please those are my friends, they don't mean any harm they're just looking for m.." Before he could finish an arrow shot by me, just barely missing my shoulder.
" they're firing at us, get down now" I yelled.
We all ducked behind our fence and waited for the firing to stop.
" please we don't mean any harm, stop firing at us and we'll give your friend back" John yelled.
Silence rains for a few seconds, then firing once again. Either they didn't hear us or don't care and just want us dead.
I look over the fence seeing them still and good distance away, and still up top the trees.
" they have to run out soon, what's the point of wasting so much ammo?" I said to no one in particular.
" once they stop we should charge in and do what we can. I'm not sure if they can be reasoned with" John said.
" I agree, paisley, Ben you two start climbing up those trees once they stop. Me and John with shoot from the bottom, plus if any jump down we can handle them." I said.
They nod, then I hear a voice calling me from behind.
" wait please stop, those people are my friends the probably just want me back!" He yelled.
" I yelled at them saying we would give you back and they said nothing and kept firing at us" John said.
" please just untie me and I'll go stop them" he said.
" ok, it's better if we do this then risk fighting" I said slowly walking towards him. I start to untie him when John calls me back.
" some people are on the ground and are racing towards us!" He yelled.
" try to hold them off, I need to untie him. Speaking of that sorry we did tie yah up in the first place, we were just scared I guess".
" it's ok, I probably would've done the same".

John POV:
As the other people race towards me, Ben and paisley I grab out our weapons, a large knife and a pistol from my back pocket.
" let's do this" I say to paisley and Ben as I start running towards the group.
They follow after me, also having weapons ready to attack.
I soon realize we're out numbered 6 to 3, but then Lexi races along side me. I almost forgot she was here, and from the look on her face she's also ready to help attack.
Lexi races ahead of us running after a smaller person, she tackles them to the ground. Another person races towards her, but before I could help I'm face to face with a person myself. He's tall and has dark blue eyes, but I don't really care. I bring my knife up towards my face and turn the blade towards him, as if trying to warn him. He doesn't stop though.
He also brings up a large knife, all though his knife is longer and thinner mine is shorter and thicker.
I swing the knife towards him, he quickly brings up his to block himself. We pull apart and he swings at me, I duck underneath and tackle him to the ground.
I have him pinned to the ground, he drops is knife and I push it away.
I put my knees on his arms and bring the knife towards his face.
" look we don't wanna hurt you guys, Just tell us what you want and leave!" I yelled.
" we're looking for our friend that you kidnapped, once we have him back we'll leave" he said.
I could tell by the tone in his voice that he was lying.
I look over seeing Lexi fighting two people, they seem confused with her but that doesn't stop them for fighting her off.
Paisley is facing one person, as well as Ben, I suddenly realize one person is missing.
I suddenly fall on my side, somehow he pushed me off.
He picks up his knife and races towards me, I draw my knife before a sword cuts between us.
I look up seeing Jewel holding one of her swords blocking the knife.
" enough!" She yelled pushing the knife back as well as making him fall.
" your friend is free he's over there" she yelled once more, pointing her sword towards him.
They all stopped and raced towards him.
Again I can see that one is missing, I wonder where he went until I get my answer.
A person drops from the tree tops and lands on Jewel, Jewel is pinned to the ground with a knife to her throat.
