Chapter 6

Rosie POV:

After hugging for about 10 more minutes, we headed back out. When we stepped out the bathroom, most of the hallway was already clear mainly because the bell had rung for class. I wonder what it would be like if my mom was still here. I miss her so much. Dad wouldn't be like the way he is. I would have friends ,but sadly that won't happen. I was so lost in my thoughts that Alex had to snap me back to reality. And he actually snapped me back. "Rosie!!" Alex said while snapping his fingers in my face. I moved his hands out my face. "Sorry I got lost in thought, what were you saying?" I said. "I asked if you want to go to class or hang out?" He said concerned. If I do hang out with him , the school might call my dad. If I go to class , I will be humiliated even more by people laughing. But I'm not sure especially after what happened last time I ditched school.

*Flashback*

I walked in and immediately smelt beer. I was hoping that my dad was sleep because if he wasn't ,I would be in some serious trouble. "WHERE THE H*** WERE YOU!!" . Oh no, that was my father. I tried to act dumb "What are you talking about, I was at school?" After I said that I felt a slap on my cheek. "If you were at school, why did the principal call saying you weren't there?!?!" He said yelling even more. I didn't say anything because I was too scared. Then he picked me up by my hair and threw me across the room. I cried in pain.
