Two Weeks Later...

"Going to the chapel and she's gonna a get married." my mother sang helping Leana fix her veil over her face.

"Mom you've been singing that song for the past 2 hours, stop please." I love my mother but she could be extremely annoying at times and her singing was not helping the headache I was developing.

"You know how much I love weddings Alana, even though your brother and Leanna are already married. I'm excited and you never know, you might be next." Leana coughed trying to cover her laugh and I just nodded my head. If only she knew.

"Alright ladies let's get this show on the road." Leana's dad, Reggie said walking into the room. Everyone including me had a crush on Leana's dad, he looked like he could be the twin brother of Morris Chestnut  I remember when I first met him I almost fainted because of how handsome and nice he was to me. And don't get me started on when I started puberty, my crush finally ended when I met my first boyfriend at 16. Every once and awhile Leana would tease us about it saying she would tell her dad our "dirty little secret" but we knew that he noticed the constant adoration of his daughters teenage friends. We were surprised when he and Leana's mom divorced when we started high school. It was a tough time for all of us because we were like a family big family. Of course Leanna took it harder than any of us and went through this dark stage during our freshman and sophomore years, stopped talking to us completely, but something happened that caused her to change. She's never told any of us what happened and we never pressured her to.

About a year after the divorce everything went back to normal and her parents were able to be cordial with one another before Leana left for college. Leana's mom got remarried to our old Spanish teacher about three years ago, Mr. Ortega, well Jorge now. Her dad dated but never anyone serious enough to marry. My parents were relationship goals for every one, together for 4 years before getting married and act like they were still in the honeymoon phase. They weren't your typical couple both being so different, but they made it work. I hoped that one day that I would have a love that was close to what they had.

"Dad have you seen Aiden?"

"Yes, and he's just as nervous as you are."

"Good, I bet mom $20 he would cry when he saw Leanna walk down the aisle." I said laughing

Both Leana and Aiden ended up crying once they finally saw one another, there wasn't a dry eye in the church when the two exchanged vows. After pictures and a short break to freshen up before the reception started. It was nice to see family members that I hadn't seen in awhile but it was annoying to answer the same questions over and over. Especially about when was it going to be my turn, am I dating anyone, and if I wanted to be set up with the successful son of a "close" friend. The idea of just telling everyone that Elijah and I were married sounded like a good one but I settled with escaping to the bar to refresh my glass of sparkling cider. Of course my mother asked if I was pregnant because I wasn't drinking I simply told her that I was laying off the alcohol for a bit, although I was late I didn't want to overreact because it may be stress. But knew if I didn't get my monthly visit soon I would have to take a pregnancy test to know for sure.

After the best man and maid of honor speeches, all the children were taken home, the party started. If there was one thing I loved about my family, it was our ability to turn up. You could tell everyone was having a good time because of the smiles on their faces. I was currently dancing with Elijah when Lauren said she had an announcement to make.

"I swear if she starts some shit I'm throwing my shoe at her." I whispered in Elijah's ear as he stood behind me with his arms wrapped around my waist.

"Maybe she wants to give a heartfelt speech about her sister." I laughed at him and felt something was about to go down by the wink she gave us.

"I'd like to say congratulations to the newlyweds, Aiden and Leanna, as well as Alana and Elijah. May your marriages be blissful and full of everlasting love. Now Uncle Dave let's dance."

"Alana Leigh Knight possible Blake, what is she talking about?" Asked at my mother looking between Elijah and I, if looks could kill we'd be dead by the stare my dad was giving us.

"Imma kill her." I said starting to walk her way but was stopped short by my dad stepping in front of me giving me the explain now look.

"Not if I get to her first." Leana said behind me already starting to take off her earrings and shoes.

"We are talking after all of this is over." My dad said with a serious look on his face. The evening ended with everyone sending Leana and Aiden off to their honeymoon with a small fireworks display.

"It's been a long day, you two come back the house for Sunday dinner so that we can talk about your sudden marriage." My dad said before leaving with my mom.

"I'm so excited for that conversation."

"Hey, maybe they'll be excited about it."

"You manage to find the good in everything, I like that about you."

"Thank you Mrs. Blake."

"Hmm, haven't gotten used to that at all."

"You will. It fits, how about we get out of here and go somewhere to relax for a couple days."

"I have an idea of where we can go." I said smiling up at him, if we were going to be an actual married couple we would have to have a real honeymoon, right.
