Michael and Luke guided me to the back parking lot of the mall where a large tour bus sat. The door opened and we walked in. A short, gray haired man with a round belly sat in the drivers seat.
"Oh, yeah Madi, this is our bus driver Bill." Luke said pointing to the man in the seat.
"Oh.. hi" I said very shyly while twirling my blonde hair between my fingers.
"Hello!" Bill said cheerfully making me feel very welcomed.
I walked into what looked to be the "lounge area" at the front of the bus. There were two couches on either side of the bus and a kitchen not too far down from them. On the counters in the kitchen were scattered pony cups, bananas, and chocolate milk..? I couldn't further investigate the contients of the kitchen because a boy much shorter than Luke appeared next to me. "Hiiii! I'm Ashton!"
"Hi! Im Madi!" Just being around Ashton put me in a good mood. He seemed like a very care- free guy, always happy.
"Not to sound rude or anything but how did you get on Gus?"
"Oh right Luke brought me and umm.. Gus..?"
"Gus is the name of the bus!" Ashton said motioning to the bus.
"Oh ok so why'd you take it to the mall then?"
"Because we love Gus!!" He said before laughing. His laugh was so.. adorable! I have never heard a guy laugh like that and I loved it!
"I can see why. He's a.. umm.. lovely.." I didn't know how else to compliment a bus.
"Well, anyway Madi.. How'd you meet Luke? He doesn't take many people on the bus. You must either be really special or mobbed by fans.. or maybe both.." He said before looking at me with a suspicious expression that made me laugh this time.
"Well I wouldn't say I was really special to him we just met last night at the beach and.." Before I could finish my sentence Ashton blurted in.
"OH! You're.. Her."
"What? What do you mean her?"
"Well last night Luke came home and being one of his best friends I knew something had happened.
*Flashback* (Ashton's POV)
"Calum! Do you want chocolate milk?!"
"Yeah! Bring it in here!" Calum was sitting in the back lounge of the bus playing video games with Michael.
I grabbed two glasses and was staring to pour chocolate milk into a glass when Luke came on the bus. It was late but he had gone to the beach for inspiration for new songs. A lot of our songs came from Luke's late night walks on the beach. But, something about him was different... "Hey Luke! What's up?" He didn't respond just looked at me with the biggest grin on his face. "Luke how'd the walk go?"
"It went wonderful Ashton!" He said before walking to his bunk near the back of the bus.
*end of flashback*
I just assumed it was a girl. But I just shook it off and went to bed. Seeing that he brought you on the bus must mean your the girl he met, and really likes you."
I was still processing what Ashton had told me when Luke walked into the room. Ashton gave me a wink and left the room.
"What was that all about?" Luke asked with an unreadable expression on his face. It looked like jealousy at first then turned into something else.
"Oh, nothing. I just met him. He seems like a really.. sweet person."
"Yeah, Ashton has that effect on people. He's really fun to be around, and I love him for that." Luke said walking over to the counter to grab something to drink.
"Yeah I can tell that you guys must really like chocolate milk." I motioned towards the chocolate milk on the counter.
Luke just laughed and told me "Ohh yaaa it's Ashton's favorite."
