Jace Herondale stared down at his own eyes.
"Beautiful." Was all he could think to say. Clary smiled at the fact that she had never seen" Jace the almighty Herondale" be.... Speechless. Suddenly, the past 9 and a half months were worth it.
"Jace." Clary said, getting his attention away from their golden haired and gold eyed baby boy.
"Hmm?" He asked, refusing to look away from his-their baby.
"What is his name going to be?"
Now that got his attention. "I never thought about that." He answered honestly.
Clary huffed a breath out. She had been thinking about names for the longest time, but couldn't pick one.
After a moment Jace whispered something Clary could barely catch, but she did and she smiled.
"Stephen sounds perfect." She said.
Suddenly Jocelyn walked in the room. "Aww. Let me see my grand son!" She beamed.
But Jace didn't budge.
"Jace Herondale!" Clary hissed.
Jace turned his head innocently. "Yes Clarrisa Herondale?"
Clary huffed out a breath as her mini me ran into the room.
"Hey Chloe!" She said.
Chloe was Clary's 9 month old sister. Chloe's mom was Jocelyn and her father was Luke.
Chloe was an interesting child. She was wear wolf/ shadowhunter so they were not yet sure how she would turn out.
But that was least of worries today.
"Where's Luke?" Clary asked.
"Tonight is a full moon. You know how he gets. He was beating himself up like crazy wanting to get here but I told him it was safer to stay away." Jocelyn replied, and Clary nodded. She truly did understand but she always pictured him being there.
"Anyway, let me see my grandson Jace or I'll have to rip her from your hands." Jocelyn teased.
Hesitantly, Jace handed her Stephen.
Jocelyn smiled. "He's a special one, this one. Most babies are born with blue or green eyes. Stephen already has gold. "
Clary and Jace shared a smile.
"Do you think you could take a picture of us?" Jace asked.
"Why of course!" Jocelyn exclaimed.
She handed Clary the baby and took a picture of them with her camera that she brought.
She showed them the picture of them and their son.
A new family. A start of a new generation.

Jordan squeezed Maia's hand, letting her know he was there for her.
When Maia finally had her baby in her arms, she was happy as could be.
She stared down at their perfect little baby girl.
She was scared for her though. And they all knew why. Would she have the wolf gene? Or would she be able to live a normal life? They would soon find out.
But luckily she had picked a name earlier. May. She always wanted a baby with a similar name.
She handed the baby to Jordan who handled May carefully.
"Jordan, I'm scared." Maia admitted.
"I know. But we have to get ready to go." Jordan said pleasantly.
So they handed the baby off to Clary, who had visited only because she had been there earlier with Stephen. Maia wondered if one day, Stephen and May would be lovers. She laughed out loud, which earned her a funny look from Jordan. But she just smiled it off.
Maia and Jordan got ready to go outside and get ready to wolfed up. But before they left, they gave their new little girl one last kiss.
And for that one small moment everything was, well, perfect.

"Finally!" Exlaimed Simon when the hospital worker told him he could go inside. Which earned him a weird look from the nurse.
Simon just ignored her, and walked in to see his new baby and wife.
His mouth hung open for a small second when he saw him. Instantly the baby boy looked up and locked eyes with Simon, challenging him a little bit. As if to say, "She is mine, don't forget it." About Isabelle.
Simon made a point of walking over to Isabelle and giving her a kiss. "Simon." She said sternly, "We are never having anymore kids."
Fine by me, he thought. But only said. "We'll see about that."
But Simon had to admit, it would definetley stinck if his only child hated him.
Simon put his hands out and Isabelle handed the baby to him. "His name is Gabriel."
Simon stared into Gabriel's eyes and Gabriel stared back.
Suddenly their feud was forgotten. Simon was glad. He remembered how he had to fight for Isabelle's attention when the first met.

Alec stared into his son's eyes.
Yes, his son.
Alec remembered how after Magnus left him, he shortly heard after that Magnus had fled to another dimension.
Aline remembered how Helen had been killed by the fake Sebastian. Around the time that Helen died, Magnus had fled and Alec and Aline comforted each other and... Well fell in love.
Aline wanted to name the baby after her cousin, who had been killed.
Not Sebastian Morgenstern but Sebastian Penahollow.
Alec hoped that Sebastian and he hoped Sebastian would have his blue eyes.
Alec and Aline looked down at their little boy and suddenly knew that all of their pain and loss hadn't of been for nothing.
