A knock on the door alerted Jace to wake up.
He checked to see who was there. It was Tessa, Jace's great great grandmother.
He had met her when he took the boys with him to the London institute
"Hey," he said.
"It is dinner time, if you could be down the in 20 minutes." she tuned away and ran down the steps.
"Yea, sure." Jace said to nobody. So he turned around to get the boys ready.
The Institute had given them plenty of clothes. So he found three dress up outfits for the boys.
He helped dress Gabriel and Owen but then Stephen and Sebastian got dressed without much help from Jace. Jace just had to button their shirts.
When they were ready, Jace proceeded downstairs into the dining room when a thought hit him.
Maybe his dad had once walked down these steps.
Now he was walking down them with his son and three other boys.
He sat down to dinner and waited for someone, anyone to say something, anything.
Finally though, Tessa said something.
She said, "Well, I know who you are and your sons, but please introduce us to the rest of them."
Jace thought about that. From now on, they very well could be his sons.
22 with 4 sons already.
What a thought.
