New Life

Simon went and locked himself in the room that him, Clary, and Luke and Jocelyn made for when he phased.

So Clary was left all alone. She made herself a cup of coffee and then she thought about how 8 months ago, she never thought that she would see Simon again. But luckily she did.

Simon came to her door the night that she moved in.

He has lived with her ever since.

Clary felt her large baby bump and she felt the baby kicking. For a minute she flashed back

"Jace?" Clary had screamed down the hall.

"What is it?" He demanded, running into the room, knife in hand.

Instead of answering, she pressed his hands to her stomach. (After he put the knife down.)

Stephen kicked Jace's hands.

"Oh, ouch," Clary said to herself as she felt a strong kick.

When this happened again ten minutes later, she realized that the baby was coming.

She called for Simon.

Flashback ***

Jace looked amazed.

"Wha-a-at is that?" Jace asked.

Clary looked up at him and smiled. "Its our baby, silly." Clary said.

That is when she felt an extremely hard kick.

"Jace, I think that he is coming now," Clary said excitedly.

Jace looked terrified. "I'm not finished the nursery yet, I haven't finished the crib or painting or-"

Clary cut him off by quickly kissing him on the lips. "Come on, you will have to drive me there."

She took Jace's hand and led him outside.

Clary then remebered how Simon had went into the phasing room. So she quick picked up the phone to call her mom, but then she remebered that Jocelyn had gone shopping with Chloe. She dialed Isabelle's number, but then remebered that they were no longer speaking to eachother.

So she called Maia but then remembered that Maia was probaly phasing as well.

So she called a number that she knew she wouldn't be able to reach. But she tried anyway. Jace.
