The Face of Enemy

Bai Xiao Si felt her soul immediately leave her body when she saw An Ziyan approached them with his long and fast strides. As if to make everything getting worse, she also could see Mai Ding's hands still in Zhang Luo's tight hold. And Bai Xiao Si was sure An Ziyan could see that.

'Someone is gonna die today.' Bai Xiao Si thought anxiously.

In the middle of panic attack, she hopelessly tried to shove Mai Ding with her elbow just so Mai Ding could realize with the current situation. But as usual, Mai Ding was just being Mai Ding; dumb and slow. Mai Ding sat still unmoved, too dumbstruck with everything with his hand safely tugged in Zhang Luo's grip. Never once crossed in his mind, that An Ziyan was coming just like a storm in rage.

'We are so gonna die...' Bai Xiao Si hopelessly stated in her mind.

In a blink of eyes, An Ziyan reached their seat. Like a motion, An Ziyan grabbed Zhang Luo's shirt, gave him a hard punch straight on his face and then pushed him hard enough to make the young president fell to the floor.

Bai Xiao Si gasped. And Mai Ding stood still as if he saw a ghost. Few minutes ago he still tried to set Bai Xiao Si up with Zhang Luo, the next minutes saw Zhang Luo sad eyes because of he only saw his feeling as a joke, and then that man already on the floor with a broken nose.

"What are you doing?!" Mai Ding shouted. Mai Ding knew An Ziyan had all his rights for being angry, but seeing Zhang Luo bleeding so badly on the floor Mai Ding also couldn't stay calm. This Mai Ding, he had such a soft and kind heart. Unconsciously Mai Ding leaned forward to check on Zhang Luo's condition. But Mai Ding's absent-minded act made An Ziyan angry even more. He grabbed Mai Ding's arm and glared at his lover.

"Touch him again and I'll assure you he's going to get another broken bones." An Ziyan hissed darkly. And just like that, Mai Ding stopped all of his movement. He saw An Ziyan got angry plenty of times already, but he had never been this furious before. He could see An Ziyan's flared with fire.

Mai Ding just stared at An Ziyan. Was An Ziyan really mad at him now? "It... It's not like what you see... he..." Mai Ding was stuttered with his own words.

An Ziyan snorted, "I don't want to hear another lies."

Meanwhile on her spot, Bai Xiao Si stood completely dumbfounded. She didn't know that the situation would turn so bad like this. Realizing that everything was getting out of hand, Bai Xiao Si stepped forward.

"An Ziyan?! What are you doing? He's my boyfriend!!" Bai Xiao Si shouted. He immediately rushed forward and helped Zhang Luo to stand up again.

An Ziyan looked at Bai Xiao Si with raised eyebrows. Doubt was written all over his face. Silently, Bai Xiao Si glared at Mai Ding in hope that the clueless man got the hint that she decided to help and once again be Mai Ding's savior again. In the next life, Mai Ding was so need to pay his debt to Bai Xiao Si. She was already willing this kind of risk to save Mai Ding's ass.

One second, Mai Ding stared dumbly at Bai Xiao Si. It took quiet few seconds unti he realized what was Bai Xiao Si trying to do right now. Mai Ding immediately took the chance, "See?! There's nothing between me and him. Yes, he is my boss, but I don't have anything to do with him. He's Bai Xiao Si's boyfriend. You misunderstood the situation." Mai Ding explained and quietly bitting his cheeks inside. He was never good in lying, but dear God... Mai Ding would pray for God in heaven just so for this once An Ziyan would believe him.
