The Hidden Turmoils

"An Ziyan..." Mai Ding whined as he trailed as if he was An Ziyan's shadow. "Please hear me out. It... It wasn't like you thought. I didn't bring my phone and I have no choice but to accept Zhang Luo's help. We didn't do anything, I swear! He even said he is willing to be just friends with me, nothing more." Mai Ding explained like a broken radio and a little out of breath.

But his lover just continue his step without looking back. He quickly grabbed his car key and left the house, leaving Mai Ding stood like a statue behind.

An Ziyan was ignoring him.

It's been two days passed after An Ziyan picked him up from Zhang Luo's villa and his lover didn't speak a word to him ever since. They still sleep in the same bed, but An Ziyan was practically ignoring his presence. When Mai Ding tried to talk to him, An Ziyan even didn't give any single glance and pretend that he heard nothing. He refused to listen to Mai Ding's explanation.

It frustrated Mai Ding to no end. He didn't know what his mistakes was. He didn't cheat behind An Ziyan's back, so what was making An Ziyan that angry at him? Mai Ding was simply clueless about this matter.

He thought An Ziyan must be misunderstood again, just like what happened before with Zhu Li.

But Mai Ding was upset. Zhu Li and Zhang Luo were so different. That Zhu Li girl was simply an evil girl, meanwhile Zhang Luo was a gentleman. He was nice and eventhough he made it clear that he liked Mai Ding, he was willing to sacrifice his feeling because he didn't want to make Mai Ding sad. Before he fell asleep, Zhang Luo even promised to Mai Ding that he would find a way to solve their problem with those troublesome reporters. He didn't allow Mai Ding to go to office when he was still trying to solve everything; the reason why Mai Ding had been staying at home in these past two days.

How could An Ziyan reacted the same way about Zhang Luo liked how he reacted to Zhu Li? This time jealousy really clouded An Ziyan's mind and Mai Ding didn't like it even a bit.

Like the previous day, today Mai Ding was sitting all day in the couch watching some program in the television even though he wasn't interested at all. But what could he do? Zhang Luo told him to stay at home until he found a way to solve their problem with the reporters. An Ziyan refused to talk to him. Boredom slowly ate Mai Ding up from the inside.

Thinking of someone to call, few persons came into Mai Ding's mind. He thought of calling his mother because he kinda missed his mother, but then he realized that his mother would give him a long rants. Mai Ding was sure his parent already heard about the commotion and his parent undeniably would choose to be An Ziyan's side and put all the blame on Mai Ding alone. So Mai Ding erased his mother from the list for now.

He thought of Bai Xiaosi the next. But then Mai Ding remembered that he dragged this girl into his problems for so many times already. She was a true savior for Mai Ding, yet the only thing Mai Ding could give to her was trouble.

Li Ming was the next person Mai Ding wanted to call. But then he remembered that he must be busy at this kind of hour. He got a really good job in a foreign company and Mai Ding really shouldn't disturb him.

When Mai Ding was still hesitating about who would he call, suddenly there was a loud knock from the door. He was a little shocked and cautious, who would come to their house in this kind of hour? It couldn't be An Ziyan, could it? He had his own key. What if it was the reporters that finally found out where he lived? That could be a disaster.
