Unexpected News

In An family main house, they had their breakfast as usual. An Xun (An Ziyan's father) sipped his coffee slowly and Wu Xin (An Ziyan's mother) seated comfortably beside her husband. She finished her breakfast already so now, she chose to read some news from the newspaper. Across from her mother, An Suo also enjoyed her breakfast in silent.

The situation in that big house was so quiet. They didn't talk to each other, aside from occasional order from Wu Xin to their maid if she wanted to request for something.

An Suo sighed. Maybe this was one of the reason why An Ziyan never felt comfortable in this house. There was no love in there, and oh God... they even could count with their fingers how many words they talked to each other. Now An Ziyan found Mai Ding. The innocent, naïve, noisy and loud Mai Ding. Eventhough her mother always said that Mai Ding was after their money, An Suo knew it very well that it was so far from the truth. She was so blind for also judging Mai Ding as gold digger at first. And now after few years passed by, all she could see was how both An Ziyan's and Mai Ding's eyes radiance with love whenever they looked into each other eyes.

"What kind of joke is this?!"

An Suo's train of thought suddenly got interrupted when she heard his mother muttered under her breath. Her face was red from anger. And she gripped the newspaper in her hand as if she wanted to tear it up into tiny pieces. She looked at the newspaper with hateful glare.

"What's wrong, Mom?" An Suo asked.

"This is not happening. This must be just a nightmare." Wu Xin ignored An Suo, she continued her rambling with her eyes never left the newspaper.

An Suo glanced at her father worriedly, asking for help. Despite An Suo being all worried, her father remained calm. He touched his wife's hand slowly, "Wu Xin, what happened?" He asked.

"This is because your father!!" Wu Xin shouted. "If he didn't give his support for An Ziyan to be with that little brat, none of this would happen. Now how could we step out from our house without feeling shameful?"

Wu Xin threw the newspaper in her hand to the table. Curiously, An Suo took it to look for anything that made her mother being that furious. When she finally found it, An Suo lost her words. With big letters written in capital, there was the headline news. It says; Young and Handsome Presidents of Two Largest Companies Fighting Over a Man. And there was a photo of An Ziyan punched another man who An Suo didn't know when Mai Ding stood dumbfoundedly watching the whole commotion.

An Suo sighed. It's no wonder her mother would be this furious.

Mai Ding didn't understand why everyone looking at him as if he was some kind of alien. Ever since he arrived at the company, he could sense that everyone's eyes followed his every movement.

It seemed that Mai Ding hadn't realize yet that his face was already printed on newspaper and his triangle relationship with both An Ziyan and Zhang Luo was being hot topic.

Mai Ding rubbed on his face. There must be toothpaste on his face, that's why everyone was looking at him weirdly, he thought. He even immediately rushed to the bathroom to checked on his face, but Mai Ding found nothing. Nothing different with his face, so why did he get so many attention right now?
