Leaving

I was sitting at the airport when my flight was called. My heart started to speed up and my palms got sweaty. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath remembering why I was doing this, to protect the people I love. I took a step forward as I smiled thinking of the smile Matt had on his face when I left. I need to remember him like that. A happy smiling Matt who had no worries in the world. I stepped up on the plan and found my seat putting my bad in the cargo shelf. I sat in the seat next to the window and seen the sun rising. Matt would be waking up soon along with everyone else. I hope I made the right choice. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes falling into a restless sleep.

I woke up to shuffling and someone shaking me softly. I opened my eyes and seen people walking off the plan. I looked to my left and seen a tall elderly man with the biggest green eyes ever smiling at me. "Excuse me miss. We have landed" He smiled. "Thank you sir" I smiled standing up grabbing my bag form the cargo shelf. I waddled off the plane at the same speed everyone else was moving at. I finally stepped off the plane and stared at the beautiful scenery in front of me. The sun was just setting it was around 6, the clouds were orange and pink. I smiled and took a deep breath, California is beautiful.

I settled into the hotel and laid on the bed. I sighed and unlocked my phone, I had 20 unread messages and 30 missed calls. I locked my phone again knowing they were from everyone. I decided to put some pajamas on and crawl in bed. I turned on the small TV and a picture of Matt was plastered on the News 15. I stared at the screen listening to the news man talk. "Matthew Espinosa was reported missing along with Shannon Stuart yesterday morning. Nash Grier says:" And a short clip of Nash and the guys along with Alyssa came on. "Shannon please come back, Matt went looking for you , I just... I don't know why you would leave us again" He trailed off as more tears came to his eyes. The clip went away and the picture of me and Matt popped up on the screen. "If you have any Information of where these two pop star lovers may be please contact us and let us know" I turned the TV off and stared off into space. Matt told me this would happen. Everyone would be miserable and he would come looking for me. I curled up in bed and cried my self to sleep.

I was running, I don't know where I was running but I felt scared. "Matt is going to die" I heard My mother yell. I started running faster and I started hearing matt screaming. Tears filled my eyes and I tripped over a branch. "Shannon why did you leave me baby" I looked up and seen a crying matt. His eyes were bloodshot, He was bleeding and cut up. "You caused this, If you would have stayed everyone would be happy. It's been almost a year baby. Why would you do this to me, to us" I stared into his eyes and broke down. "Matt baby I'm so sorry, I couldn't risk you getting hurt" I cried. "Shannon" He yelled as he got pulled away from me and I heard a gun shot and a body hit the floor.

I sat up hearing a ear piercing scream. It was mine, It was my scream. I looked around, still hearing my mothers voice echoing in my head. It was just a dream. Matt's looking for me, I cant let him find me, no matter how bad I want him to find me.

I woke up the next morning sore and tired. I dragged my self out of bed and walked over to the small bathroom. I peeled my night clothes off and got in the hot shower. The warm water relaxed my muscles, and I leaned against the wall. I stepped out the shower and looked at my self in the mirror, my wounds were still fresh and they were bleeding. I tended to my wounds and pulled on a tank top and a pair of leggings. I sat on the bed and turned the TV on instantly regretting it. A clip of matt at the same airport I was at was on the screen. "Matt said he came to California cause that's where Shannon was. My heart started to race and then I paused the TV real fast. Standing behind Matthew was my mother with a really evil grin on her face. My dream popped into my head and I felt like screaming. My mother was after Matthew to get to me. "DAMNIT" I screamed throwing the remote. I left to protect matt, now I'm putting hi in more danger. The image of his dead body hitting the ground in my dream popped into my head and my heart and blood boiled with venom. My mother is going to end up in Matt's place.

I know this chapter is short but trust me its worth it. There will only be maybe 1 more chapter after this one because the next books are going to be amazing !!! Trust me its worth it. Sorry guys I had to change it to one more chapter because Im already working on the second book and its all just jumbling together so Im going to make this one really long chapter but a lot is going to be jammed into one chapter :) But its all totally worth it :)
