Chapter 8: Nico

It was only the second day of school, and Nico swore he was ready to murder everyone who looked in his direction.
Except Hazel. And Percy. And Jason. And Reyna and Piper and Annabeth and Frank and Leo. So everyone who look at him that he wasn't friends with.
Nico was on his way to lunch from math. He spotted Percy and Annabeth talking at the Weird Ones' usual table; it was outside and across from the school, just underneath a big tree.
He took a seat beside Jason and started eating his "pizza" as the school lunch ladies called it. It tasted like cardboard. "Hey, Nico, did you hear about the new kids?" Percy asked him. "Mph." His mouth was full so he just shook his head. "Yeah there are...I think three kids coming in," Annabeth joined the conversation. Piper joined as well. "Do you know their names?"
Annabeth fished around in her backpack and came up with a paper. Nico raised an eyebrow at it, and she noticed saying, "I'm their tour leader," sarcastically. She searched the paper muttering "uh-duh-duh-duh-buh-duuuuh...Rachel Elizabeth Dare, Calypso or Callie Montenegro, and Will Solace." "When are they coming in?" Frank asked. "Tomorrow." "Nice."
"Hey!" A voice interrupted their conversation. They all turned around in time to see Hazel smack a guy's hand out of her way. "Dude just....no," she said walking away to their table.
"Hey, Hazel," Jason said, moving so she could sit down. "Hi," she said, glancing up to Frank and blushing. Nico raised his eyebrow again, and Piper grinned. They all finished their food, talking about the new kids, and what they might be like.
Percy thought they sounded cool, but you never know, and Annabeth rolled her eyes and smacked him on the back of his head. Piper thought they sounded cool also, and that they were going to be cool, because you should never doubt people. Jason looked at her weirdly. Leo thought the name Calypso was hot.
