Nico POV
Annabeth was in the office, ready to show the new kids around. They all arrived.
Rachel Elizabeth Dare, bright curly red hair and paint-stained skinny jeans, along with a satchel, complete with colorful "save the whales" and "earth without art is just eh" patches. She wasn't shy.
Calypso "Callie" Montenegro. Cinnamon, braided hair, with a white blouse, a soft pink flats, and matching flower earrings. Her dirty fingernails contrasted from her outfit. It looked like she was working in a garden.
Will Solace. Golden, surfer dude hair and bright blue eyes. Cargo shorts and blue t-shirt, he seemed like a typical Californian guy, aside from the Red Cross pins on his backpack. Maybe he was a lifeguard?
Annabeth showed them around the school, and introduced them to their friends.
"So, guys, this is Piper..." They all smiled and nodded and shook hands. Leo, of course, greeted them with a, "Wassup, my homies?"
Afterwards, they all dispersed to get to class. Except Nico, Will, and Reyna, who had joined them as Annabeth summed up the introducing. They headed to the computer room together.
"So, Nico, how did you meet Annabeth?" Will asked.
"Um, she showed me around on my first day," Nico muttered quietly. "Huh." They were quiet, and Reyna trailed behind them, fiddling with be phone. "So...how old are you?" Will tried again. "Fifteen.....You?"
"Sixteen. Trying out for a drivers license next week. Shouldn't be to hard, right?"
"I dunno, it took Percy a while to pass. Fifth try, I think he got it."
"Ouch."
