Savannah's POV
I perkily walked with Ethan to our first class. That's when I remembered that Hunter was also in this class. Shoot.
I started to have a mini panic attack. Sweat formed on my neck and I stopped walking to take a deep breath.
"You okay?" Ethan asked in a genuinely concerned voice.
I nodded almost immediately and put a calm look back on my face.
"Yah." I breathed.
We reached the class room and entered it slowly.
No sign of Hunter yet. He's always late.
For once, I wasn't the first person into the class room. There were some of my classmates scattered around the room.
I sat where I normally say, and Ethan sat next to me. Instantly, people stared at Ethan like he was crazy.
Yah yah, no one sits next to the nerd.
Ethan didn't seem to notice so he just turned to start talking to me.
"Hey, um, savannah?" He asked and I looked back over at him.
"Yah?"
"What's the teacher's name?" He asked and I looked at the teacher who was sitting at the front of the classroom.
"Miss Sterling." I answered.
Everyone liked this teacher. Especially boys.
She was drop dead gorgeous, with flowing brunette hair, piercing green eyes, and a fit body. Not to mention her flawless features and soft-looking skin.
Not only did she have the looks, but she was an Amazing teacher.
She got the knowledge we needed to know in to our heads without us even knowing it. Every test or quiz was a partner quiz.
We had free time every other day and we could talk and call out answers all the time.
"Ah, is that a new student I see?" Miss Sterling called out and have a welcoming smile to Ethan.
"How nice. It's always nice to change things up around here. What's your name?" She asked and drummed her long fingernails on the desk.
"E...Ethan." Ethan replied, his shyness coming back.
Miss Sterling was about to say something when the door flung open and the class was dead silent.
My jaw dropped as I watched the smirking figure I thought I could trust strut through the doors without a care in the world.
Fear radiated off of me as Miss Sterling looked at him with a hint of aggravation.
"This isn't your class, Hunter." She pointed out kindly with a smile.
"I switched. For a reason you don't need to know." He said and an almost unnoticeable wink was sent directly at me.
I widened my eyes and my teeth unintentionally chattered, a flash of guilt running over Hunter's face.
Guilt? He doesn't feel bad, does he?
