"Damnit Toby, I didn't know!" Rhys yelled. Moments before, Toby had grabbed hold of Rhys' collar and hauled him to his feet, his fist hovering beside Rhys' skull. This was about the same time Clara had begun hyperventilating. Whether it be because that freaking voice is really starting to creep her out or because she was dead.

She was actually dead.

The words didn't seem right, didn't seem real. But she knew they were.
Before Clara knew it, she was on her feet and pushing through the tables of men who had begun to stare once Toby began shouting threats. Toby was still shouting threats as Clara made a break for it.

She ran out of the room and into a long white corridor. Fluorescent lights flickered over head almost eerily, but Clara didn't really care through her screaming thoughts and emotions.
She shoved herself at the first wall she saw, trying to look for a hidden latch or anything that might be hiding one of those hidden doors that kept popping up out of no where.

It was no luck, however that didn't stop Clara from hitting the wall harder.

Bam. Bam. Bam.

She shook her burning and aching hands, feeling tears begin to slip from her closed eyes.
"I want to go home." She whispered. She did. She wanted to walk through her door to the familiar smell of dad's spaghetti and the strong smell of garlic bread. She wanted to catch her mother dancing around the living room like a prat whilst swinging Emily with her. She just wanted to go home.

Clara opened her eyes and immediately knew she had either fallen asleep and was dreaming, or was finally having a mental breakdown.
She sat up in her familiar bed, under her familiar purple sheets. She looked around the room, taking it all in: the vanity table littered with all her crap, her floor to ceiling book case filled with bobble head figures of her favourite book characters and hundreds of books. On her cream painted walls were posters of book to movie adaptations she loved. The computer where she spent basically all her non school life writing and watching joey and Daniel, whom by the way, she shipped harder than jack and rose from titanic.
Everything was where she'd left it, everything was where it should be.

The door flew open suddenly, causing Clara to jump and scream. She stopped screaming when she realised who it was.
"Jeez, scare much?" Emily said, covering her hands over her ears. When she noticed Clara had stopped screaming, she slowly removed them.
Clara was out of her bed in an instant, pulling her little sister into a tight embrace.
"Can't. Breath. Need. Air. Becoming. Fatal..."
Clara quickly let go, rubbing her tear filled eyes with the back of her hands. She'd believed Emily was gone. Truly gone. Never to be seen again. She hadn't realised how scary that thought was until feeling the relief of it not being real.
But wait, was this real?
Clara pinched Emily to check.
"Ow!" Emily yelled, slapping her hand away angrily. "Keep your hands to yourself, troll."
Clara only laughed and pulled her sister in for another hug, surprised when Emily hugged her back.

Clara 1 Emily 0

Clara had been so happy to see Emily that she hadn't noticed the two people stood in the doorway.
"Gosh, who died?" Clara's dad said feigning shock. "I'm almost certain I've never seen them hug before. Carol, what's wrong with our children?"
"Mummy! Daddy!" Clara yelled, gently letting go and running to them. Since they weren't expecting a hug. She ran right into both their chests.
"Oof. Yes, something is very wrong." Dad said.
Clara broke free and grinned up at the two of them like a mad woman.
"Enough, Sam." Mum scolded, pushing him gently. Clara felt new tears spring to her eyes. Seeing her parents joking around...
"I missed you guys." Clara breathed.
"Missed us?" Mum laughed. "You only just saw us! Are you alright sweetheart? You look a little flushed."
Clara shook her head, making no protests as her mother gently pushed back her hair and rubbed a ringed thumb against her temple affectionately. "I'm fine mum, really. Just happy is all."
Emily came to join the three of them in the doorway. "I called Clara a troll." She announced proudly to dad.
Dad gave an impressed not and raised his fist to hers. They did a geeky hand shake thing with an ending of a click and a bam. Both Clara and her mum rolled their eyes at the same time.
"I taught you well, little one." Dad finished with a bow.
"Indeed, master."
"You guys are such geeks." Clara laughed.
Emily stuck out her tongue at the same time as dad. "Your just boring. I honestly question how I'm even related to you sometimes."
"I could say the same thing!" Clara retorted. "I think mum and dad picked you up at a farm!"
They looked at one another intensely for two seconds before bursting into laughter.
That laughter was cut short however, by a loud screeching sound. Clara was suddenly sat down, behind a leather seat, with the loud sound of metal against metal. She screamed and was plunged into darkness and chaos.
