*This is just a short chapter telling the story of the car crash and how Clara actually didn't die. It's told like it would have at the time. With Clara having no idea what was about to happen and no knowledge of the afterworlds and the in between.*

Clara sighed. Today was family day. The day all four of them got out of the house to go and do something as a family. This usually meant parent fighting day or sibling fighting day. It would seem today it was war between the parents.
Clara's mother was shouting something at her father that sounded along the lines of never listening and always working. Clara decided to tune them out and glance over at Emily who was currently playing a game on her phone. Clara's fingers twitched to play the game that Emily was oh so obviously losing at, however stopped herself knowing Emily would only grown mad when she won, and probably throw a small tantrum.
So instead, Clara turned her head to the window and watched as the world flew by. She felt at peace, her shoulders relaxed and her head leaning against the window. That's when she saw it. The car that appeared out of nowhere and was barrelling straight towards her. Clara's eyes widened and she turned her head to warn her father, but it was too late.
The impact of the other car was bone shattering. Clara squeezed her eyes closed and felt the car be lifted then spin uncontrollably. She knew she should feel pain, however didn't. It was as if she were living a dream and her body was not her own. The car finally came to a stop and Clara briefly opened her eyes, breathing heavily. That's when it hit. The sudden fiery pain in her entire body. The last thing she saw was a bright golden light before the world went black.
