Nica’s POV
“catch!!!”
Jill tossed a box to me
“what’s this?”
She sat on the couch across me, crossedleg
“a reward for such a good acting yesterday?”
I laughed and ripped off the box cover
“what the— an L nendoroid action figure!!”
Yep!! I’m a model.. the sexy, pretty and all so glamorous Nica Rhys but what the crowd doesn’t know is that I am just Nica, a big fan of Death Note..
“oh c’mon! the reaction, it’s too epic!!”
We laughed together as I took the space beside her
“I know it’s so dramatic but, THANK YOU!!!”
“awright! Awright! Let’s go back to business and don’t forget, today is Diane’s audition..”
“how can I forget? She’s my favorite auditionee remember?”
I said raising a brow and putting a dirty smile on my face
“I know…”
I place the box on my desk and clung my arms on her as we walked to the audition room
“okay everyone!! Get dressed!!!”
I heard my staff commanded the auditionees. We sat on the screener’s table as we waited for each auditionee
“hi good morning!! I’m Jessica Ariola, 25!!”
I nodded as a sign for her to proceed with her audition. I watched the monitor as she made a pose and projected to the camera. Eeeeek!! Bad modeling..she almost ruined the camera with her ugly projection.. I looked at Jill and saw her shaking her head.. a couple of auditionees made the same disaster but some were good, still needs a lot of trainings
“Diane Hidalgo, 21..”
I smiled but when she turned her back and walked towards the set, I smirked
“woah! I’m not gonna say wow but…..WOW!!!”
Jill exclaimed as we scanned her shots on the monitor
“kanino ka ba talaga kampi huh?”
“easy ka lang!! syempre sayo, pero girl tingnan mo naman.. kahit hindi mo na kontsabahin ang screening committee, ii talaga namang palong-palo tong Diane na to!”
Psh! The term,palong-palo, utak kalye talaga to!! Hehehe.. I scanned the pictures again.. hmmmm… I guess she’s right and if she weren’t dating my ex who dumped me, we could be friends and she could be my favorite
“aaa.. Hi po Ms. Nica!! Ok po ba yung ginawa ko kanina?”
Tss!! Ang lakas ng loob aa.. pero I have to deal with her to perfect the plan..
“are you serious?? You did really great!!”
Jill blurted.. now I’m starting to wonder, is she just saying that as a part of the plan or she really likes her? Tsss!!!
“yeah! She’s right! You are awesome!!”
I was busy getting her trust when a man caught the corner of my eye.. they’re here? Why so early?
“aaa… if you’ll excuse me..may aasikasuhin lang akong importante.. I’ll be back!”
I winked at Jill and threw her an evil grin that made her look to where I was going..
